Andersen Børne- og Ungehospital, Odense Universitetshospital, indlagte børn og deres familier og 10:30 Visuel Kommunikation. HC And er patientinformation for børn i alderen 4-7 år og har til formål at forberede og mindske utrygheden hos børn for hvem mange hospitalsbegreber er helt ukendte. ”HC And - Diabetes - type 1” er en introduktion til et generelt patientforløb for de yngste børn, deres familie og omgangskreds. Informationen er med speak - af en barnestemme - og animation i genren ”Læring gennem leg med tablet/mobiltelefon/touch-skærm”. Børn i denne aldersgruppe lærer og erkender ved leg og konkret information. Indlagte børn kan hurtigt blive “fyldt op” med en masse information.
