## What is HDD Audio Remote?

HDD Audio Remote is a mobile application that allows you to operate compatible HDD AUDIO　PLAYER models using your smartphone or tablet.
The application allows you to operate HDD AUDIO PLAYER easily using specialized functions that are only possible in a mobile application, such as the “Full Browser” function (tablets only).

This application has the following features:
-	Easy operation of HDD AUDIO PLAYER using your mobile device
By installing HDD Audio Remote on your smartphone or tablet, you can remotely select and play tracks, change playback volume, stop playback and more, instead of operating the HDD AUDIO PLAYER directly. You can also select music services.
-	Creating and editing playlists
You can create and edit playlists with your favorite tracks.
-	Editing the music information of a track
You can edit the details of tracks.

HDD Audio Remote supports the following HDD AUDIO PLAYER models. (as of Sept., 2013)
-	HAP-Z1ES
-	HAP-S1

Use HDD Audio Remote app for many years, nice user interface, a lot of music information and nice graphics on the screen. Everything great. If Sony can update the app and add other music streaming service would be perfect.

Love the player but it’s rendered almost useless when the connectivity to the app interface with it is so terrible.  And it’s been this way for years!  Can it really be that hard for a huge company to offer this small consolation???!!

App works the way it should although would like to see cover art wall. With a huge library it takes a while to scroll to the bottom and the cover art is really small. With a wall art view mode you would probably see 20-30 albums. Just saying it would be nice to navigate the albums a little easier.

アプリで制御する規格なら、せめて本体の内蔵HDDにシステムを入れないで欲しい。本体のハードディスクが故障したら、本体のHDDにあるシステムが故障。何を考えたら、こんな仕様にするのか。例えば外部HDDのファイルにアクセス出来ない仕様はあり得ない。SONY製品ののアプリは使い勝手が悪い。ユーザ指向の製品では無い。長年、SONY製品オーディオやカメラを買って来たが、カメラは今の規格のWi-Fiに繋がらない。SONYサービスに連絡したが、解決策が出て来ない。また、Bluetoothも今の規格だとスマホやiPhoneには繋がらない。また、オーディオ製品も似たような粗悪アプリを提供する。これで、SONYファンを減らす方針なのかと思ってします。iPhoneは10から、iPhone 15まで、カスタマーセンターで解決策を提示する。そんなに不出来なアプリ提供するなら、アプリ操作では無くリモコンくらい提供しないと。SONYはオワンコ。
