Please fix this ASAP. I was trying to find the part payment link over the app and it was nowhere mentioned. you click on any of the options. It just gives you the meter information and nothing more about the loan for example, if I want to check the outstanding amount, the Principal amount it does not show anything. ### 1/5 — Third Class App and Bank as well. *2024-08-22, version 5.31* Third Class App. You really can’t do much here, you can see your stale data. For example, basic task of viewing your balance outstanding, will show you data from 1st April (start of the year). Exact balance outstanding you need to write email to the customer care. It is a right of every act holder to know his balance outstanding month on month basis but this Bank will not provide you this even on statement they sent you. I wonder what they want to conceal. Once my loan is done which is close, I will end my entire relationship from this Bank. ### 1/5 — Worst app seen ever *2024-08-16, version 5.31* Poor app which doesn’t show all loan details like principal outstanding, interest and principal part of emi etc. please look at the apps of PSU Banks like SBI, IDBI .. their apps provide all data in simple manner which helps to understand our loan better. But in case of HDFC it’s bad.. don’t know its app developers wish or bank doesn’t want to provide clear data to customers.. ### 3/5 — App does not give updated details of loan *2024-06-27* This app is good to monitor however it does not give my principal outstanding details. Also there is no option to make a prepayment option like the other apps have. I can see that other banks like SBI , icici gives option to prepay online , but this app does not give an option to make a prepayment ### 1/5 — Useless app *2024-06-15, version 5.30* Login doesn’t work in this app consistently. Even after registering with both moon and biometric it keeps taking you to registration screen. Once when logged in (inside the branch) after complaining at the branch the data that the customer can use is very limited and not very useful. The service is not transparent at all. They promised an attractive rate of interest. And increases the interest rate immediately after the loan disbursement with no change in repo rate. No response from the team, even After sending multiple request to correct it. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Missing Transparency in EMI & Part Payment Updates *2026-07-15* I am currently using this app to manage my home loan, and while it shows the EMI breakdown (principal, interest, and remaining balance) for each cycle, there are some important gaps. I can see how much EMI is deducted and the remaining loan amount, which is helpful. However, the app does not properly reflect part payments. Whenever I make a part payment, the updated total outstanding amount is not accurately shown or updated in a timely manner. It would be very useful if the app could: * Clearly show updated loan balance immediately after part payment * Provide revised EMI schedule or tenure after part payment * Give a detailed breakdown of how interest changes after prepayment This feature is essential for users who actively manage their loans and make prepayments. Hoping the team improves this for better transparency and user experience. ### 1/5 — Login issue *2026-06-16, version 5.44* Annoying login issue. This is the first time I have encountered such an issue with HDFC, and it is quite disappointing. The same login credentials work seamlessly on the desktop/web version. If the application is unable to reliably support this functionality, it should not be made available to customers in its current state. I request that this issue be investigated and resolved at the earliest. ### 1/5 — Unable to Login – OTP Verification Not Working *2026-03-31* I was logged into the app, but suddenly I got logged out automatically. When I tried to log in again using my account number, it redirected me to the OTP verification screen. However, when I click on the “Verify OTP” button, nothing happens — the app becomes unresponsive. Because of this issue, I am currently unable to access the app or view my loan details, which is very inconvenient. Please fix this login/OTP verification bug as soon as possible. ### 1/5 — Unable to login into application *2026-03-22, version 5.43* From last couple of days I am not able to login into application, after entering password it keeps on loading and never login. Although in webpage it is working fine.
