Should be more light weight. UI not easy for users. Have to come back to main page and select ‘equity’ stocks from the filter again. The in-app navigation isn’t intuitive. Seems like an old design that would have been ok 10 years ago. Just imagine there is no option to view account statement in this app… It only allows users to download or send to email, Viewing account statement is one of the basic feature user need.. Hopefully hdfc management improves this app just like Paytm Money or Grow.. I’ve waited over a minute but login doesn’t happen. Quite frustrating not to be able to access your portfolio. It’s almost impossible to use it . ### 1/5 — Slow and buggy app *2025-01-23* I’m honestly at my wit’s end with your HDFC Mutual Fund iOS app. It's an absolute disaster. I have no idea how it has a 4.6 rating—seriously, Because in reality, it’s a buggy, frustrating mess that seems to have been designed without any thought for actual users. After battling through a minefield of bugs, I somehow managed to set up my NRI account, create a user ID, and make a ₹5000 transaction via internet banking. The money was promptly deducted from my bank account, and your app proudly declared it “successful.” But here’s the fun part—there’s absolutely NO TRACE of the transaction anywhere in the app. I’ve searched the portfolio, transaction history, everywhere. It’s as if the money just disappeared into some digital black hole. Fantastic. For the love of God, please fix this mess once and for all. I swear, once this issue is resolved, I’m uninstalling your app and making sure I never accidentally install it again—even in my worst nightmares. And just to add to your growing list of failures, here are all the ridiculous issues I faced while setting up my NRI account: Data loss on back press: Ever heard of basic UX? I mean, who thought it was a great idea to erase everything if someone just goes back a step? Apparently, you did. Submit button magic show: Press it once—nothing happens. Press it again—still nothing. Maybe it’s just there for decoration? Pathetic form validation: The app doesn’t even bother to show meaningful error messages. It’s like playing a guessing game. Never-ending loading screens: Tried to make a transaction, clicked SUBMIT, and watched it load forever. Had to quit the app and try again. Miraculously, it worked the second time—must be a hidden feature, right? Missing transactions: And the cherry on top—after all this drama, my “successful” transaction vanished into thin air. Checked portfolio, transaction history—nothing. Classic. OTP failure in support form: When I finally decided to report all these amazing issues using the app’s support feature, the SEND OTP button simply refused to work. The will be locked for a while with reducing input window and unable to input the OPT. Waste app in iPhone. ### 1/5 — Worst mutual funds service ever *2023-07-06, version 1.9.6* These days in the fast world of digital everything is so quickly done but when we decided to invest through HDFC MF through the same bank as we hold savings accounts in the same bank and branch. That turned out to be the worst decision ever as since 2 months now we are unable to purchase mutual funds nor the bank people are showing interest in that. Being customers we are behind them to get it done and unfortunately it’s pending. HDFC being such a big brand should seriously look into matter and treat mutual funds customers properly. HDFC Bank people blame HDFC mutual funds section and HDFC MF group is blaming them but as a customer we say it has one brand and under one umbrella. Customer should not suffer in this. Hope this msg reaches to highest level of banking board and improvements will be done. It took me 15 mins to login as every time I entered a special character the keypad disappears and the password and account name get wiped off.
