I don’t know how that Tristan guy Realtor says he uses these filters, a home would look like an Oompah Loompah village. ### 2/5 — Not really HDR *2019-10-18, version 1.8* This is is really just another filter app. It doesn’t take photos. It merely enhances photos that you choose from your camera-roll. For what it does -- the classic 'filter wheel' approach to options -- it does well. However, it is not what what I needed. Free. Deleted. Nothing lost. But the five-star reviews printed in the application description are rather suspect considering the wealth of one-and two-star reviews. Frankly, most reviewers do not write that well or that much. ### 2/5 — Not something to scream about. *2010-08-22, version 0* As an avid photographer, I love to take pictures and it's always nice having a handy iPhone with me to take great pictures and edit them well with apps. I downloaded this app to obtain HDR photos. It was free so it was worth a shot. Obviously it's junk from the start. Its a gimmick with the HDR. All the app does is add nasty saturation and colors ti your picture. Like I said it was free so I'm not mad at wasting my money. Free the apps does a great job of making usefull and free apps, it's just that this is a sad excuse for an HDR rendering app. Downloaded the proHDR and it's a world of a difference. ### 4/5 — Works great *2010-08-02, version 0* Does what it says with different levels. Works great; wish there was a way to take a picture within the app. ### 1/5 — Not HDR *2010-07-05, version 0* This app claims to do HDR but in reality it just bumps the saturation of your images. Real HDR combines the tones of multiple images into one. This app takes a single picture and plays with the colors and saturation. It's against app store policy to submit apps with improper descriptions (including misleading ones). If this app wasn't free, I'd probably report it for such a violation. ### 1/5 — Deceptive app that does not deliver on the promise *2010-05-11, version 0* What is free has no value... This app does not do HDR as it does neither tone map HDR images nor produces them. It is just another app trying to do DRC (Dynamic Range Correction) with a confusing user interface, a non color neutral rendering, and quite slow output. Do you really think an iPhone has the kind of processor required to combine images? Besides a fancy opening screen, it doesn't output anything worth while. You can get much better results from using Photoshop Mobile which is also free and powered by Adobe. But this app is not true hdr. Hdr is several different exposers of the same image composed together. This app does not allow you to do that. Also it is always crashing on me. Real HDR images are created from multiple source images taken at different exposure levels; the final image show more detail in both light and dark areas than the originals. This app does nothing like that -- it just fiddles with color saturation. All it does is add super saturation to photos, and makes them look awful. You can do that with your phone editing software anyway. This app takes an already-saved JPEG image on your Camera Roll and simply applies garish toning curves to it. Actual HDR *requires* capturing multiple photos of different exposures. BEAUTIFUL Results ANYONE can achieve with this APP! GREAT WORK, Designers! ### 5/5 — Great app *2020-06-17, version 1.8* I can’t believe the last bad review, I am a photographer, Realtor, and this app is really good, yes you don’t take a pic through the app, take the pics through your camera phone (if you do not how to take photos, knowing light, never mind, no app does miracles), then you convert it to HDR through this app, the great: you do not loose as much quality as with Photomatix! I was impressed! And the HDR tones were GREAT, I just finished doing a comparison, and this Is a keeper, I am tired of carrying my big camera everywhere, so this is it, please make SURE the light is ON YOUR BACK pointing at the subject and that you take your pics between 10:30am-1pm, you need LIGHT, with any app! It evokes, at least, negative emotion due to illegitimate business practices and could under certain auspices be a form of SPAM. I would encourage Apple inc. to become very aware of what happens to this app program software cloudware viral spam. Because that is what it appears to be. A leech or pseudo-virus. I do photography as a hobby an let me tell you, I use this app for almost every pic I take with my iPhone with superb results. I recommend applying minimal saturation or your pix will come out too bold.
