### 1/5 — No remote

*2020-11-06, version 3.8*

Used to work great but now will only allow me to view video if on camera wifi. When using setup to put on house wifi, Says it connected to house wifi but then always says camera not online. Shame nice wide angle camera that worked much better than other brand I had but I can no longer get it to connect properly. Btw, could only get it work previously after adding camera to app a second time. First time says online always but then password error. I could never get that AAZ4BH camera to record.

### 1/5 — Won’t let me connect

*2020-11-03, version 3.6*

I spent so much money on this and for it to not let me connect is a rip off #neveragian

### 1/5 — Camera to WIFI??

*2020-10-23, version 3.6*

How can I have the camera remain connected to my WiFi?

HELP ME.

### 1/5 — Bad app for a bad camera

*2020-10-20, version 3.6*

For the life of me I don’t understand why these companies make a product that almost works... it would cost no more to actually make a functional product. Nothing I do makes this camera record despite using the sd card they suggest. Annoying.

### 1/5 — Fatal

*2020-10-10, version 3.5*

No conecta a la red wifi recomendada en la compra y basura de aplicación

### 1/5 — Not what it claims to be

*2020-08-02, version 3.1*

This product seemed to be all that and a bag of chips. The continuous issue I personally had was that both devices I purchased, would not connect to my 2.4ghz wifi. I did absolutely everything possible to connect these devices to my wifi. They never connected to become “online”. I even read to weaken my password by eliminating special characters. Nothing worked. I do not recommend their product or application. Since the only connection you obtain is through their unsecured hotspot. This is unfortunate because these is on the pricier side of mini security cameras. $50+

### 1/5 — Piece of Garbage

*2020-07-15, version 3.1*

This camera is a paper weight disguised as a camera . Will not work, directions are crap !!! Says push reset , where the he’ll is reset? Directions don’t show it !!! Support, yea right if you speak or read Chinese, Japanese or what ever language it’s written in !! One star is too many bug as low as it goes . Waste of money to buy this paper weight !!!!

### 1/5 — Useless app

*2020-02-19, version 2.2*

App software doesn’t install the camera despite many attempts. Never got to see how camera would work either

### 1/5 — Will not connect

*2020-02-17, version 2.2*

Wish I could return. Item is non functional.

### 1/5 — Not good

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — It doesn’t work

*2023-01-22, version 5.0*

I’ve been trying to get this thing to connect and work… nothing. Two of us in the house tried to get it to work. Still nothing. Save your money and time. This is not worth it.

### 1/5 — Software Update

*2022-08-28, version 5.0*

アプリにはソフトウェアの更新が必要です

### 1/5 — The first review was correct

*2022-02-04, version 5.0*

As soon as I connect camera to Wi-Fi, I’m unable to watch the camera. ☹️

### 1/5 — Followed directions, would not connect

*2022-01-19, version 5.0*

Followed the directions it came with, but it wanted me to modify my router, which would then mess up the connections to all of my other home devices. Waste of time.

### 1/5 — The app NEVER allows secure connection to your local Wifi

*2021-08-22, version 5.0*

I’ve already read other reviewers saying the same thing, but I’m adding my similar experience nonetheless, if for no other reason than to heighten the odds that others are more quickly able to learn about such a giant software failure *before* they waste any valuable money/time purchasing this useless product.

I’m using an iPhone with the latest iOS (which is iOS 14.7.1 as I write this), and the associated app simply *NEVER* allows you to enter the password for your local wifi—despite its asking if you need to enter a password. As a result, I have to assume that it will only connect to an unprotected Wifi, which NO ONE is willing to have—especially those who are trying to protect valuables with cameras like these.

Do not buy this product, unless you enjoy hours of frustration followed by repackaging your purchases and going through the hassle of returning them.

### 1/5 — App

*2021-07-16, version 5.0*

The only thing that I hate about this app is when I put it in 4K it looks like it’s on 144q

### 1/5 — Garbage

*2021-04-12, version 5.0*

The app crashes or the picture freezes frequently while recording video. It also struggles to connect to the camera after more than an hour of the camera being on.

### 1/5 — DONT BUY THIS SHI

*2021-03-29, version 5.0*

THE RANGE IS 2 meters away and it cost me 50 BUCKS SCREW THIS SHI GOS INTO THE TRASH

### 1/5 — No title

*2021-03-16, version 5.0*

Imposible to connect to your wifi

### 1/5 — Stay away from this product

*2021-02-26, version 5.0*

All the reviews are right. Product works 20% of the time. And even then, movement is slow, there is significant lag, and the camera seems appropriate for the year 1960’s. Complete waste of time and money

## Most praised reviews (5 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Works well

*2020-02-02, version 2.2*

Guys, I don’t know what to tell you; this works for me. It’s a bit tricky I’ll admit, but it’s working fine.

### 4/5 — Not perfect but ok

*2021-02-21, version 5.0*

It’s got its quirks. Notifications don’t seem to work on Android but seems to work on iOS and the color balance is off, black looks purple in bright light. For those complaining that the default password doesn’t work, the letter in front of the number is not a typo.

### 3/5 — Difficult to understand but works

*2021-12-06, version 5.0*

It seems like a lot of people are confusing the camera password (don’t miss the first letter in the default password) with the WiFi password for your router.

When it pops up the WiFi password form you have to tap the form field to enter both WiFi SSID and password - it won’t pop up a separate password form like you might be expecting from your router.

Having then connected to your secure WiFi then I would recommend going in and changing your camera password for best available security.

After much fiddling around to get this to work it did finally work as advertised and seems to work reasonably well.

So stick it with it - it could definitely do with better documentation on how to set up.

### 3/5 — The camera is great!

*2021-07-27, version 5.0*

It recorded nicely the first night. But now if I leave the app the camera disconnects and it’s very difficult to turn it on remotely. Kind of defeats the hidden purpose if you constantly need to grab it to Try to turn it on.

### 2/5 — I mean… it worked … but…

*2022-11-20, version 5.0*

The app is a bit underdeveloped but cmon, the camera price and point of origin should tell ya what to expect. Seen others claiming won’t connect to WiFi, I had to refresh the initial login multiple times before it would find my WiFi which was wpa2 and then you can also manually type in your WiFi ssid (user name) to force it to not rely solely on discovering your WiFi.. but if you’re pretty close both to the router and the camera you should see it after a refresh or two … as far as the user experience.. as I said.. it worked and what not but it’s certainly not a Reolink or higher end product. Video on the card obv much clearer than what you’ll see watching the stream either in real time or in playback on your phone. Alarms would trigger and notify I bought it mostly just to try it as my first cam for keepin an eye on my dog. So, hope this helps. As with all these companies you have to know they will record your data and store your business / video footage on their servers whether you want/pay or not and you also risk getting malware / backdoor hacked especially if you don’t have a robust network setup placing the cameras on an isolated extension of your network which you can learn about via YouTube / google. Won’t avoid the footage being saved but will prevent potential hidden executable files/ malware/ etc from actually getting in to where they could really do some damage. Network consciousness, it’s an unfortunate necessity nowadays hacking is as simple as copy and paste or sending you a cord to plug in with a product … cheers.
