Not all reading apps are built for mastery. This one is built for transformation. Crafted for serious English learners, this app turns everyday reading into a refined learning experience. From your first article to your next breakthrough, every detail is designed to help you read deeper, think clearer, and grow faster. Read in a focused vertical flow, then rotate to an immersive bilingual landscape: English on the left, Chinese on the right, sentence by sentence, perfectly aligned. Tap any sentence and both sides highlight in sync, so meaning is never lost and comprehension becomes instinctive. Behind the interface is a disciplined system: curated article selection, structured reading paths, and seamless transitions between reading mode and practice mode. You can preview before committing, build your active reading list with intention, and maintain momentum with smooth cached performance. This is not just content consumption. This is precision learning, elevated. For learners who value depth over noise, consistency over shortcuts, and elegance over clutter, this is your new reading standard. Read beautifully. The app remembers the paragraph you reached, so you can pick up right where you left off and turn spare moments into steady progress. Look up unfamiliar words and save notes as you read. You can also listen to paragraph read-alouds, practice speaking with recordings, and use bilingual content to better understand each article. After reading, take a quiz to check your comprehension and review key points to reinforce what you’ve learned. Whether you’re building a daily reading habit, learning vocabulary, or practicing listening and speaking, Heabei Reading helps you learn at your own pace—one paragraph at a time. ### 1.0.25 — 2026-10-07 A refreshed reading experience! Enjoy a new landscape bilingual view with English and Chinese side by side. Select and study phrases by meaningful chunks to better understand expressions and read more fluently. We’ve also refined interactions throughout the app to make learning smoother and easier. ### 1.0.23 — 2026-09-16 This update focuses on improving the landscape experience for chunk practice: Rebuilt the landscape layout for dialogue practice, with a more focused chat-card presentation. Optimized the visual proportions of the left chat area for more comfortable reading. Improved control-position stability to reduce UI shifting during practice. Made landscape page navigation more intuitive, with smoother previous/next switching. Kept existing playback, recording, and scoring features unchanged for a more seamless learning flow. ### 1.0.22 — 2026-08-23 Version Update: Word Practice Is Now Live In this release, we’re taking learning beyond memorization and into real usage. Our new Word Practice feature is officially here, designed to help you move from “I know this word” to “I can actually use it.” What’s new: New Word Practice entry point You can now start practice directly from the word detail page and instantly see your latest overall score. A full learning flow Practice now follows a structured path: lemma → examples → collocations → dialogues, so you build understanding and real-world usage step by step. Proven speaking experience, now for words Word Practice uses the same high-quality native audio and pronunciation scoring system as Chunk Practice, with feedback on pronunciation quality and fluency. Clearer progress with overall scoring Each session ends with a comprehensive score to help you quickly review strengths and spot areas for improvement. More reliable submission in unstable networks Submission handling is now more resilient, so your practice results are less likely to be lost when the connection is weak. Our goal with this update is simple: Every word you learn should become a word you can confidently use in real situations. Update now and start your first Word Practice session from any word detail page. ## Apps similar to Heabet Reading | App | Rating | Price | Category | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | [背背狸ABC - momo共创，背单词轻松又扎实！](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/abc-momo/id6749012131) | 5.0 (2) | Free | Education | | [LingoLumi流明](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/lingolumi/id6768511948) | 5.0 (2) | Free | Education | | [目读](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/id6453687337) | 3.7 (3) | Free | Education | | [WordTower-词塔英语：回归语言学习的本质](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/wordtower/id6478051012) | 5.0 (1) | Free | Education | | [CCAdvent - Geography learning](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/ccadvent-geography-learning/id1465679896) | 5.0 (8) | Free | Education | | [Plum: Read English Books](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/plum-read-english-books/id6781574008) | 5.0 (4) | Free | Education | ## More apps by 北京云端海贝软件有限公司 - [hoyodo](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/hoyodo/id6758013529) All apps by 北京云端海贝软件有限公司: https://appshunter.io/developer/1503978848 --- *Data collected daily from the US App Store and indexed by [AppsHunter](https://appshunter.io/).
