If you would just do an occasional wrestling story that would be fine but the amount right now is just silly. Does anyone actually care about reading wrestling news stories? ### 2/5 — Great job Apple! NOT!! *2018-07-01, version 2.33* How do you ruin on of the greatest news apps out there? By allowing spam, ads and endless video pop ups! I guess that is one way to shut someone down! I used this app since its inception. I have friends with androids that don’t have as many problems, so I can only surmise that this is an Apple issue, which is strange since it is a “closed” op system! Sad that the powers that be can’t let people make their own decision on what they use and read without trying to influence it by creating a negative experience! ### 1/5 — Nearly unusable *2018-06-29, version 2.33* With all of the pop up ads and videos, this app is now nearly unusable. It is not optimized for iPhone and has a terrible interface. Drudge App is Unusable! *2018-06-04, version 2.33* First, I love the Drudge Report. But lately whenever I click on a linked story, ads pop up ... and pop up ... and pop up endlessly. It makes it so I am unable to even read the linked articles. I’ve deleted the app various times and reinstalled it. But I get the same pop up hell. Is this Drudge’s doing? Or is something/someone hacking the Drudge app? Either way, Drudge needs to fix this problem ASAP as it makes this once great app unusable. ### 1/5 — It’s true, it doesn’t work *2018-06-04, version 2.33* In spite of the plethora of negative reviews, I decided to give the app a try. First, it looks great—much better than viewings the website on a phone and having to scroll around to read. I read a few articles, and all was well. I though the negative reviews were maybe outdated or overly critical. But no. They’re correct. After literally 5 minutes if surfing, my phone’s screen slowly flickered from the site to black, back and forth, repeatedly, until I closed the app and tried again. Then the same thing happened. Looks like it was trying to pop up an ad video. I couldn’t get the app to stop doing this, so I uninstalled. Was it taken down for being too truthful for the media establishments narratives & this app being its “forced replacement”? The never ending pop up video ads makes it difficult to read any news story on it. Very well structured and easy to navigate. ### 5/5 — Actually more balanced than drudge now... *2019-10-29, version 3.0* Do some research, ever since drudge switched from intermarkets to granite cubed, now renamed Voranda, drudge has become far more one sided in the wrong direction. This app actually appears to be more balanced than drudge. Do your own digging and realize that drudge now has turned to an unknown entity for its source of ad revenue, and this is all looking extremely suspicious. ### 5/5 — Pop-ups... *2018-07-01, version 2.33* So I was having a problem with pop ups and videos. Very hard to use the app. BUT, I uninstalled the app and reinstalled and that fixed the problem completely. Very hAppy with drudge. ### 5/5 — POP UP POISON *2018-04-27, version 2.33* Suddenly your app is nothing but pop up ads that won’t go away making it impossible to enjoy the news on what used to be a great app. I’m surprised Matt allows these pop ups to destroy his app. I’m giving you a few days to clear these pop ups out and if they persist, I’m reluctantly deleting this app, consigning it to oblivion, and moving on. ### 5/5 — It’s Drudge, what else is there to say? *2018-03-29* Excellent app. If you don’t agree with his straight forward approach to the news, delete the app. Simple. Great source for news across the spectrum. Pay sites should take a lesson from drudge and make their content available for free. It will blast your hits into the stratosphere. Anyhow, we access drudge regularly, it is one of the few sites that posts news as it happens without the nonsensical slant of the msm. ### 5/5 — What happened?? *2018-03-23* Update: Ver 2.33 fixes issue below. Thanks! Ver 2.32 It was working normally yesterday but today, zippo. All I get is a white screen with a Drudge Report logo on the bottom. Once in a while, like every tenth try or so, it will load properly but even that’s iffy. I’ve reinstalled it a few times and rebooted the phone more than once (7s, current iOS). That said, I'm spending too much time having to refresh the app to escape the endless spam that takes over my phone's browser. I understand ads are necessary, but spam only pays for itself for about three user sessions, then they are gone forever. Deleting this app after I write this. C'mon Matt! Still love your work, but this app spam is pure evil. Update: Tried app again for a week and now happy to see spam ads gone. Changing to Five Stars. Does need a way to expand screen print size. (Pinch fingers does not work when inside the linked news source site.)
