Not always accurate with the type of stone (probably my fault) but amazing at helping me learn about the different stones. ### 4/5 — I mean, it’s OK *2026-07-14, version 1.2.15* So it’s wrong, but there’s still a lot of things you can do on it. I’d like to be able to directly add a photo of my crystals along with the name if it doesn’t automatically identify it so I have a record of all my collection as I forget what they are called often. I thought Shungite would be in there but each black or dark crystal shows as Black Chalcedony. Others I can’t even search for. Being able to manually add to m collection would be great. ### 3/5 — Ok *2026-04-21, version 1.2.15* Better than some when using free. Still needs a massive amount added to the library for details & pictures. Doesn’t always give a choice of answers with a correct answer. If I had to put numbers to it I’d say it’ has been about a 40% chance as to whether it will get a stone right or even have it in the Data base & yet they are common crystals & rocks that many people collect. They also don’t give you the opportunity to change the name they have given to your stone if they get it wrong, so I can’t keep it in my catalogue. After a while the photo/scan stops. I scanned an amethyst crystal, pic was blank and identified as a diamond. Don’t think it’s worth the money, when it only works half the time!! Most of the time I think the app is wrong. Most identified correctly, some not. After a while the photo/scan stops. (Camera was clean and in focus) Error message appears- no connection, try again later. Finally uploaded all crystal’s, only to discover that I cannot access the info on them. Same error message - no connection. No problems with my WiFi. It’s the app that’s at fault!! Have tried emailing for help, without any success. Why would you pay money for these apps that don’t do what they are intended to ### 1/5 — Fix your app *2025-02-24, version 1.2.12* I’ve had this app before and it worked pretty well, I just redownloaded it and it won’t identify a single rock I take a picture of. I’ve tried it in multiple rooms with different lighting, I’ve tried different angles and backgrounds, and yes none of them are blurry. Yet it always says there’s a problem and it can’t identify any crystal I try. ### 1/5 — Not accurate AT ALL *2024-12-22, version 1.2.12* I was skeptical bc it can be difficult to identify stones even when you see them in person. This was surprisingly bad.
