So far I'm having excellent results. The app works a treat and I always feel refreshed and ready to face the day after listening. I don't like to new fee structure however. ### 5/5 — Great sleep aid! *2016-01-03, version 2.0.1* Years ago when my mother was recovering from cancer, she told me about a meditative, mental exercise she did at night (taught to her by Dominican Nuns) which helped her both heal and sleep. I practiced it too off and on when stress from work or kids or just a restless mind would keep me easily falling asleep. Then I came across this app which does the job so much better than I was doing on my own. I do not remember a thing he said. I will use this app because I do have chronic pain issues along with other health problems. ### 5/5 — That voice... Highly recommended *2014-02-16* I decided to get this app after being hugely impressed by his Deep Sleep app. He has such a convincing and soothing voice. Together with his british accent, one can really trust his sincerity, if not power to help the listener out. ### 4/5 — Great content, poor sound quality *2014-01-02* I actually love this app. I just can't imagine where and how it was recorded. It sounds just awful. I am a musician so this type of thing bugs me. You may not even notice it... I am also a certified hypnotherapist and the content and delivery here are great. Very professional and put together nicely. I just wish that he would have hired a real producer or engineer to record and master it. Definitely not what I was expecting. I wanted a pain relief app and all I got was a bright White light going through my body. Of your a spiritual or religious person then it might work for you. However, the audio made his voice a little distracting. Then comes in a background voice which was as well. I’ve had hypnotherapy many times before for other reasons and I guess I’m just not used to it. Had to turn it off. Will purchase more if replay option is put in .please please thanks ### 4/5 — Be aware of the subscription *2021-08-17* I downloaded this app one day before my Bowel cancer surgery hoping that this would assist me through the discomfort physically and mentally. I found that in lock down with visiting limited in hospital it really helped me through at night or during the long days giving me the support and encouragement. However one day after my discharge I was charged £48.99! Being heavy headed with medication I must have mistakenly accepted a years subscription! Now although this was an accident it was extremely stressful sorting out, eventually I paid for one month then wrote to PayPal explaining my situation and had a refund for the overpayment. Sadly now I can not listen to Darren Marks it has the opposite effect of relaxation. So in conclusion I would definitely recommend this app but make sure you subscribe for what you require. **Developer response:** Hi Arty, the app comes with a 7 day free trial. You can cancel at any point within the 7 days to avoid the payment. A subscription also gives you access to all Harmony Hypnosis apps and there are many sessions in the other apps that would also be useful for both physical and emotional well being. It’s a shame because some of the sessions were nice. But in the theme of monthly subscriptions, he has now made this the case. The sessions from Marks are GREAT - I just don’t seem to be able to access ### 5/5 — Powerful *2019-11-21* This beautiful healing hypnosis-meditation was shared with me by a dear friend during a very difficult time in my life. I felt like the rug was pulled from under my feet and I was afraid someone very dear to me is dying, and I felt helpless and deeply shaken up because it happened suddenly and it triggered a lot of old trauma from my past. I first listened to it several times a day and it had an immediate calming effect on me. It helped me be more gentle with myself and less anxiety ridden. Thankfully the situation has completely turned around but ever since then this app helps me fall asleep at night. It puts my mind at ease and it’s my favourite way to fall asleep. Sometimes during the day when I need a rest and my mind is just racing... I use this app to get me refreshed with some good rest. Sometimes it’s a nap, other times it’s just a much needed break. A deep clearing of the head. My favourite part is that it’s so effective even when I completely zone out and don’t even follow the prompts. I love it.
