Low resolution and can’t match the displays of the latest iPhone and Vision Pro. ### 2/5 — GREEDY!!! *2024-05-31, version 3.3* Up until today, this was one of my favorite apps to use with the Apple VisionPro. I went to relax with this app today to find out that most of my videos are behind a pay wall now and it will cost $29.99 per month to access the less than 40 videos on the app. UNACCEPTABLE!!! ### 3/5 — Poor resolution, unable to use Watch app *2024-03-07* I’ve been trying to use the Vision Pro helium version. It says to open the Watch app for the Apple Watch but gives no instructions on how to find it. There is an app called helium smartwatch app but I open it and it says please add hot spot. the helium app on the Vision Pro or my iPhone never find the watch. Images are very blurry on the Vision Pro. **Developer response:** Sorry you're having trouble. Let's get that fixed for you. First off, let's make sure you're using the right app. :) Search HEALium not Helium in the app store. 2. Please update your Healium app to the latest version. You'll find the experience resolutions have been upgraded to take better advantage of Apple Vision Pro capabilities. 3. When you download the Healium app, the Apple Watch Healium app will automatically be downloaded to your Apple Watch app. If you don't find it on your Apple Watch, we're happy to help! Music is beautiful. Environments are gorgeous, but it’s missing the 4K element that the Vision Pro really can make these gorgeous. I hope they will be working to make this into a higher resolution in the future. **Developer response:** Yes we agree! We listened to your feedback and we bumped up the resolution to at least 8k. Anything else you want us to implement? Have you tried the app with your Apple Watch so you can see the Aura glow green or gold according to your heart rate on your Apple Watch? Also the Watch app is non-existent ### 2/5 — Quality is rough *2024-02-08* The idea of this app is really cool, unfortunately, the quality of the videos just isn’t there to be immersive enough. Can often see compression artifacts in the videos, and they are not high-quality enough. Even something as simple inside the video is obviously very compressed. The fov is low too like you are in a bubble. The video is not high definition. The videos need to be re-rendered in better quality **Developer response:** Hi KazOOm. There are tutorials all along the way to guide you through the process and grasp a deep understanding of how to get the most out of your experience. The experiences are so beautiful and calming. Definitely not for the Vision Pro era. Extremely low quality videos. ### 1/5 — Ripped off *2025-03-03* I purchased the $30/month membership and their system does not recognize it. I’ve logged out and logged back in. Reset my password, tried everything. I can’t access the content i paid for. The simplest thing, done a million times, doesn’t work. You pay somebody, they give you access. Simple concept. I’d like my money back. Was a promising app, but they really need to do better. Figure out the foundational things about building an app before publishing, much less charging for it. This is really lame. ### 1/5 — Another lazy effort *2024-08-02* August 2024 update: sorry, how can you claim that you’ve raised the resolution? Do you guys even use an Apple Vision Pro? The visuals are still terrible, you need to start from scratch and stop porting over these low quality assets from Quest or whatever platform you ported them from. There’s no way to get around it, no amount of upscaling is going to solve the issues with this app. It’s like owning a 4K TV and then watching VHS tapes on them. Another example of a developer who rushed to create an app which they either ported from previous low resolution apps on other platforms, or lazily used stock assets, without owning an Apple Vision Pro. I’m sure it looks good in their emulator but in the headset it’s low resolution. It’ll never compare to Apple’s immersive content but either developers should try, or not offer their apps at all. Complicated to set up and connect with Apple Watch app. Once all that was done I tried one of the videos, which is just a computer animation that f some landscapes, and it did nothing in terms of biofeedback. It’s just a video. 99% of the content in the app is “Premium” so you have to pay to see if there’s anything worthwhile. **Developer response:** I'm very sorry to hear you're having a poor experience with Healium. They should have spent a little time upscaling the resolution. Heck, AI upscaling has been a thing for a few years, now. I use the MetaQuest VR goggles for an enhanced experience and use wearables to measure brain waves with it. It’s pricey, but worth every penny. ### 5/5 — so cool!! *2026-02-18* I tried Healium for a school project and wow this tech is so cool!! I’m pretty new to VR, but it was still very easy to use. The coolest part was called the aura, and it changed color as I went through the session to show me calming down in real time, which in turn I think helped me calm down even more. I did the “Into the Void” experience, and it was so neat and relaxing. Their team will tackle any problem that you have, and stay in daily contact with you until the issue is resolved.
