The search function hides the first 1-2 choices due to them being behind the search entry field. Song Library is very limited especially when you think about all of the trending songs across all genres. No Steve Lacy, Paramore needs updating, only 2 songs from Beyoncé’s Renaissance, no Taylor swift songs from Midnights ??! Like just have us request songs and whichever gets a lot of requests add to the library or just look at trending songs on tiktok. It amazed me how Trippie Redd wasn’t on there, Lil uzi Vert, Playboi Carti, and many more. They had Juice Wrld which was very good, except didn’t have many songs from him, I just think they should add a lot more mainstream artists, considering that’s what most ppl listen to, and more songs from artists that are already on there. ### 3/5 — Song Requests *2022-05-21, version 6.3.0* Overall a decent app. Its main weak spot is its limited choice of songs. They only seem to release contemporary popular songs. Either have a more responsive song addition (to the database) request system, or enable crowd-sourcing. ### 2/5 — Disappointed *2022-04-01, version 6.1.0* The app was never great - always crashed, song selection was okay and not often updated. Other wise it’s a straight forward app. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — A Suspicious Lack Of Colored Artist *2026-07-09, version 9.4.0* It’s odd there’s more than 90% of white artists and barely any brown or black representation in this line up of songs. For example, The Weeknd is very, if not the most prominent black pop artist in our current generation but he only gets 3 feature songs and 1 of his own songs? While Ariana Grande has damn near all of her songs plus her new ones that just came out last year? With as much money as Round 1 makes, they can afford to add more artists songs especially from the colored communities. ### 1/5 — BAD *2025-09-03, version 8.9.0* YOU CANT SKIP SONGS ### 1/5 — Not up to date *2025-09-02, version 8.9.0* Not Up To Date with modern songs. Majority of songs are sped up or off key. ### 1/5 — Unusable on smaller phones *2025-07-06, version 8.9.0* This app is unusable on my iPhone 8. The UI for the Connect screen doesn’t fit so you can never actually connect. ### 1/5 — Worst Karaoke Experience *2025-03-16, version 8.7.0* No non-English songs available. Poor sound quality, finicky app. Why even have the option to change to "Hindi" or "Vietnamese" if there aren't even any options for those languages? There was a list of Japanese songs, but none were available to play. What is the point of the list if you can't access the songs on them. Had to settle for the popular English songs because they don't even have any indie artists like keshi. Overall, huge disappointment. Also the backing tracks are usually pretty bad. ### 1/5 — Worst by Asian Karaoke Standards; Decent by US Standards? *2024-04-11, version 8.4.0* I’m not about to mince words here. This Karaoke system will please no one except Normies and Teens. I hate to use that term, but hey, even people who only listen to radio would be shocked by how little options there are here. It’s absolutely baffling that they don’t have some of the most popular songs of all time across many genres. Does 36,000 songs sound like a lot? How about Joy Sound’s 300,000 songs? How about DAM having 150,000? The market competition in the US is absolutely pathetic. It doesn’t matter how Karaoke is more popular in Asia when they still manage to have Western artists and bands I never even heard of. Yet, for our own country, Healsonic barely keeps up with top hits, recent or not. It makes no sense, that any of the few Karaoke booths we have in the States use Healsonic. Nobody needs a Karaoke machine to sing “Happy Birthday to You” and “We Will Rock You”. ### 1/5 — Didn’t connect *2022-11-17, version 6.3.0* It just simply didn’t work ### 1/5 — Korean Language Support? *2022-08-06, version 6.3.0* Karaoke venue I go to that uses this app says they have Korean language songs. But in the app when I try to select a language, there is no Korean option. Huh? You’d think with the popularity of K-Pop, there would be Korean language songs, and it’s not a copyright thing either—they have EXO’s Chinese and Japanese discography. So 😂😂😂??? ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — User friendly *2025-05-01, version 8.9.0* It's nice that you can use the app anywhere there's a Healsonic system! Simple, intuitive English interface & good for just getting karaoke going -- not confusing or strangled translated. A little sad that not every venue has all the song languages the app offers, but a Healsonic rep explained to me that it just depends on what the bar itself subscribes to (makes sense).
