## What is HealTea?

HealTea is a reference guide to teas and herbal infusions.

It catalogues 109 plants, each with its scientific name, description, brewing method, traditional uses and — something most guides leave out — the known cautions and contraindications. Entries are referenced to public sources, including Wikipedia.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

• Browse 109 plants with photo, common name and scientific name
• Start from how you are feeling and see which infusions are traditionally associated
• Read the brewing method: ratio, water temperature and steeping time
• Check the cautions before you brew
• Time the steep so you never overshoot it
• Save favourites and build your own collections
• Keep a diary of what you drank and how you felt
• Set reminders so you do not forget
• Filter and search by name, plant or property
