## What is Health & Fitness Recorder?

Note: Only previously enrolled study participants will be able to use this app.  Enrollment would have occurred in-person with trained study personnel.
	
The Health and Fitness Recorder app records motion and health data from the iPhone and paired Apple Watch during the study enrollment period. This enables previously enrolled participants in the research study to send their data to Apple for research and product development. This integrates with the Health app to record workouts for selected studies.

### 2/5 — Doesn’t record GPS data

Unfortunately the study app doesn’t seem to record GPS data to the workout, so when you import your workout into apps like Strava, you don’t save your distance. Looking forward to a new version where this isn’t an issue. 

Also, the surveys don’t indicate which workout they are for, so it’s hard to give a good answer. Especially because generally a few hours have gone by, so it can be hard to remember.
