Health Backup is an app that allows you to ex- and import data from your Health app. To create an export, you simply open the app and press the share button on top. This generates a zip file containing all data from your Health app which you can share or store however and wherever you like. This zip file is password protected and only readable by the Health Backup app. We are currently working on an update That can export to "human readable" formats. Exporting does not change or remove the data in your Health app. You can restore a backup (adding all data back to your Health app) by opening the export with the Health Backup app. Duplicated entries are automatically taken care of. Health Backup does not share your Health data with third parties. Your export is deleted from the device as soon as possible (after sharing or canceling the export). The only downside is that the import seems to take time to be displayed on your health app etc. So you might think nothing is happening. A message to the user informing them that this process is running and to have them periodically refresh health/activities apps, would make for a nicer user experience. ### 5/5 — Worked Perfectly *2019-11-05, version 1.1* Used an old handset to export health data from. Airdropped the file to my new device and it automatically synced the data. This filled in a 6 month gap left my backup.
