### 2/5 — $25 is nuts in 2026

*2026-05-08, version 2.1.3*

Claude or Codex can write this app in 10 mins. The price needs to be reduced.

### 3/5 — Zu teuer

*2025-09-18*

... aber funktioniert.

### 4/5 — Works, but pricey

*2025-07-22, version 2.0.6*

It’s a little bit pricey for what is probably a one-time thing, but it did the job and I’m not going to knock them too hard for it.

### 2/5 — Doesn’t import data

*2025-01-09, version 1.3.6*

App does nothing with the provided data (pdf, html, or xml) from my hospital stay. I even converted the files to .csv & still nothing. Requesting a refund.

### 2/5 — 50:50 if this will work for you.

*2024-12-03, version 1.3.3*

I never drop reviews, but it seems like 8 months of Apple Watch data is enough to break this app, almost exporting everything, but not quite. If you have a Mac, you can use their tool split your file, if not? Well. You just paid over 5 dollars for only some of your data. Frustrating that this hasn’t been blatantly addressed seeing this is a multi year problem.

### 1/5 — Crashes doesn’t import anything

*2024-06-29, version 1.3.1*

Yep title says it

### 1/5 — simply did not work

*2024-06-13, version 1.3.1*

crashed and burned, didn’t import a single record.

### 1/5 — Does notwork

*2024-06-08, version 1.3.1*

App closes every time i start the import… paid 6€ for nothing :/

### 1/5 — Not able to import from iCloud

*2024-04-05, version 1.3.1*

This is not a professional application .
In apple word in the 21 century, we cannot imaging a developper with so poor conscientiousness.

### 2/5 — Good for health data not for fitness app

*2024-04-04, version 1.3.1*

This app did indeed rescue 10 years of health data that iCloud wouldn’t sync from one phone to another. However the data was not visible to the fitness app. I have emailed the developers to see if there is a fix twice and had no response. I would give a higher rating if they responded.

### 1/5 — App crashes

*2024-03-17*

I’ve not been able to import not even once since purchasing this app, it keeps crashing when I choose data source to import from

**Developer response:** Hi there—so sorry you ran into an issue. I'd be happy to help if you wanted to shoot me an email. support@lionheartsw.com. -Dan

### 1/5 — Does not work !

*2023-12-25, version 1.3.1*

Application crashes once the sources of data are identified.

### 1/5 — Can’t see the data

*2023-12-22, version 1.3.1*

I imported the data and you cannot see it in the health app graphs

### 1/5 — Does not work

*2023-12-20, version 1.3.1*

Did not import my xml to apple health

FURADA!

### 1/5 — The Import to no where

*2026-07-12, version 2.1.3*

Yes, it imports but no one know where it goes.

### 1/5 — Crashes when importing data

*2026-07-05, version 2.1.3*

### 1/5 — It's useless

*2025-10-13, version 2.1.3*

Even the demo scene is stuck in eight years ago

### 1/5 — Not working

*2025-08-23, version 2.1.1*

Crashes when importing data

### 1/5 — Scam!

*2025-05-05, version 2.0.5*

They don’t do anything valuable. Duplicates data. Removes resources. Inaccurate so useless. They are not giving my money back either. Canceled in 20th minute.

### 1/5 — No Support

*2025-04-09*

Meine Health Date war zu groß, leider konnte ich diese nicht splitten da die Split App veraltet ist. Der Support ist nicht erreichbar

**Developer response:** Hi there—I must have missed your message since I reply to every support message I receive. If you still need help I’m happy to assist, just email me at support@lionheartsw.com.

### 1/5 — Do Not Buy if a Windows User

*2024-11-05, version 1.3.2*

First time I've ever felt compelled to review an app. This does NOT work if you have more than a very short history of health data. This app cannot handle "large" data import so it requires you to download another tool, but it is only available for Mac. It instructs Windows users to email their support but they do not respond, even after multiple follow ups. Complete waste of money for an app that has an upfront charge. DO NOT BUY

### 1/5 — Not compatible with iOS 18

*2024-10-31, version 1.3.2*

Doesn’t work with current iOS 18.

### 1/5 — Arnaque

*2024-10-07, version 1.3.1*

Ne fonctionne pas.

### 1/5 — Absolute junk! Crashes every time!

*2024-07-17, version 1.3.1*

I had to delete my Health apps, and their databases, to solve a data sync problem across devices. So I exported my data and bought the Health Importer bundle to restore data to my iPhone (XS; running iOS 17.5.1) to restore the database and re-sync to the other device. No matter what I did, the importer would crash and import nothing. Apple Health generates thousands of data points every month. If, like me, you have a years-long database, with hundreds of thousands of data points, and need to restore it, forget it. This app will just crash and not import anything. I needed to provide my Apple Health data to my health care providers and now all I have are two unusable XML files. This developer should be thankful my personal resources are limited. Because this kind of data loss is the stuff lawsuits are made of. Update: The free Health XML Splitter Mac desktop app —designed to break up large Apple Health XML databases into smaller chunks that Health Importer can use— also doesn’t work. All it did was create one highly compressed database that also made Health Importer crash.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Great Aftersales!

*2025-10-25, version 2.1.3*

Dan IS the man. Unlike a lot of developers Dan backs up the developing with great after sale advice and information.

### 5/5 — Toller Support

*2025-09-29*

Der Entwickler hat sehr schnell auf meine E-Mail reagiert. Dank seiner Hilfe beim Splitten hat alles wunderbar funktioniert. Vielen Dank für den tollen Support!

### 5/5 — Top

*2025-09-15, version 2.1.2*

Hat funktioniert!

### 5/5 — It worked for me

*2024-01-05, version 1.3.1*

With all the 1 star reviews I was nervous about paying for an app that might now work. Thankfully I didn’t have any problems and my health data from my old phone was able to be imported to my new phone within 2 minutes or so. Be aware you have the option to import from health data such as iPhone or Apple Watch. Don’t choose both or you will have some overlapping duplicate info. It’s easy to delete from the health app and re import from one source. I imported from my Apple Watch, which had over 200k pieces of data. The numbers are ever so slightly off but close enough that I don’t mind. Be aware, this app won’t import things like closed rings and awards from the Apple fitness app.
I don’t think the data points that you import count toward your trends (like comparing 2022 steps to 2023 steps, etc). But at least the data is here on my phone now!

### 5/5 — Hat wie erwartet funktioniert

*2023-11-16, version 1.3.1*

### 5/5 — So good …

*2023-06-15*

… for your health as it takes all the stress out of combining old and new Health App data, only which shows you and your doc the developments you’re observing.

### 5/5 — Recovered data seamlessly

*2022-06-24, version 1.2.3*

I used a Mac backup / restore when changing phones, but health data didn’t get restored, probably because my backup wasn’t encrypted. Enabling iCloud on the old device afterword didn’t help, so I exported the data, while I pondered the painful re-entering of the data (important due to recent cardiac recovery). Health Data Importer did it in seconds, seamlessly! Well worth $4.99!

### 5/5 — Simple, effective & quick!

*2021-08-02, version 1.2.1*

I was alarmed to realize big chunks of health data were missing when I upgraded from iPhone 6s to iPhone 12 mini. Apparently I hadn’t backed up all data to iCloud along the way before upgrading—all the data were stored on my old device. I was able to quickly export all my health data into a zip file and airdrop the file onto the new phone. Within seconds several years of health data were on the new phone. I just had to delete several duplicate data points that were imported from different health app sources. Very helpful app. Thank you!

### 5/5 — Did what needed to be done

*2021-08-01, version 1.2.1*

After hours of research I decided to spend the $4.99 for this app. I never spend money on apps but eventually realized this would be the easiest way to transfer just my Apple health data from a work phone to my new phone without doing a full iCloud backup/restore. I did not want any work or other unnecessary data imported to my new phone. I was able to successfully export and transfer my last 5 months of health data from my iPhone XR to iPhone 12. And it was quick and easy. Thank you!

### 5/5 — Fantastic!!

*2021-06-28, version 1.2.1*

3 years of health data i thought was lost after being locked out of my old apple account. thankfully i was able to export and save the xml file and this app helped me re-upload all of my data. very thankful for this. 100% worth the money. uploaded over 180k data points in less than a minute. very impressed and very happy. thank you so much.
