### 1/5 — Terrible waste of time

*2025-08-08, version 2.4.1*

Waste of time, takes you in circles with the bc services app. Not sure why they’re forcing you to have 2 apps downloaded to access your health info when this could just be a singular website. Confusing, difficult to use, I’ve actually never had more difficulty using an app than this one in my entire life. I just gave up cuz I can’t be going in circles like this

### 2/5 — No health apps to connect it with

*2025-01-03, version 2.4.0*

I think this app can easily earn five stars if they made it an option to sync your records to the Apple health app

### 1/5 — Still down as of Nov 2024

*2024-11-21, version 2.3.0*

Still down as of Nov 2024, no words

### 1/5 — Broken App

*2024-08-06, version 2.3.0*

I am stuck on the terms and services page, and I can’t even read the terms and services. Clicked on agree but still won’t progress forward. Very broken and can’t even use it. This would be disastrous in an emergency situation.

### 1/5 — Stop making stuff more complicated

*2024-05-04, version 2.2.0*

App just refuses me to allow access too health records.

### 1/5 — Useless

*2024-05-04, version 2.2.0*

I was hoping to be able to see imaging reports, but no such luck. Just gives very limited and pretty useless information.

### 1/5 — A rabbit hole if links to raise your BP

*2024-04-16, version 2.2.0*

This app is so frustrating. I am trying to arrange a covid vaccination and I just go around in circles. I agree with the “typical gov’t app” review. Useless

### 1/5 — Government stupidity

*2024-01-04, version 1.9.6*

Only Government can create an app so expensive, complex and completely useless. You are taken through a never ending loop of the same information that never allows you access to anything. Our tax dollars wasted again.

### 1/5 — Junk

*2023-10-27, version 1.9.1*

Does not link to my health portal. No useful info on here.

### 1/5 — Still down as of Oct 4, 2023

*2023-10-04, version 1.9.1*

Was excited to finally have access to my records. After jumping through so many hoops through BC services app to get authenticated I am still not able to do basic things that should have existed decades ago.

### 1/5 — Useless waste of space and resources

*2023-10-04, version 1.9.1*

The linking to sign in using BC Service Card app does not work and there are no alternative methods of signing in. Terrible user experience, hire some competent designers. Stop creating apps for the sake of creating apps if all they cause is more stress and trouble. Worthless.

### 2/5 — Results displayed poorly

*2023-07-23, version 1.8.1*

Lab results are reported as in or out of range only. Cannot see the numbers unless you download the PDF. The PDF frequently does not generate properly and a 0kb file downloads. No ability to see a trend of your results

### 1/5 — Another Government Blunder

*2026-05-22, version 2.5.1*

Kicks me out every time is scroll to the bottom. Not surprising what does the government do well other than squander our money!

### 1/5 — Not what I was expecting

*2026-01-24, version 2.4.1*

It was advertised as being an app where I could see results/reports etc. This is not the case.
As others mention, it’s simply a date of service and prescription medications filled. No lab results or diagnostic test reports available at all.
Where I can, I’ll go to LifeLabs so I can actually see my results.

### 1/5 — What do I get from this?

*2026-01-10, version 2.4.1*

I was expecting to see records, results, doctors notes. All I see is the list of past appointments that were billed but nothing else. Why bother at all if I can’t see anything?

### 1/5 — Useless app

*2025-12-16, version 2.4.1*

Waste of time

### 1/5 — Fix your app!

*2025-12-03, version 2.4.1*

I can’t even get past the terms of services screen, won’t let me click accept, cancel, or close the window. Went through the trouble of getting the BC Services Card app just for it to not work👎🏽

### 1/5 — What’s the point if you can’t log in?

*2025-11-18, version 2.4.1*

Cannot even access the numeric keyboard to enter in my PHN, the first entry needed to get access… seriously?!

### 1/5 — App freeze

*2025-11-05, version 2.4.1*

App freeze when loading terms of service. Can not cancel or agree. Just frozen. Fix it

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work

*2025-10-03, version 2.4.1*

Frozen on the Terms of Service page.

### 1/5 — Cannot login

*2025-09-23, version 2.4.1*

Cannot login with the BC Service App installed on the same phone

### 1/5 — Why?

*2025-08-20, version 2.4.1*

So I download this app but it wants me to download another app to login using my BC Personal Health Number. That means I need 2 apps to gain access. This is so lame!

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — App works

*2025-04-16, version 2.4.1*

The app works great for me, I have no trouble accessing my records.

### 5/5 — Worked As Expected

*2025-02-14, version 2.4.1*

Not sure about the other reviews but worked great when for me. Downloaded and logged in with my bc services app no issue. Was able to access all my info from there.

### 5/5 — Keep it up

*2023-01-19, version 1.4*

Ma

### 4/5 — Working ok for me

*2026-03-13, version 2.5.0*

Was able to use the BC Services card app to log in. My lifetime history of prescribed medications and immunizations are listed. My recent lab results were updated and viewable here via summary or a PDF link of the actual document. Seems to have been improved since some of the reviews from a few years ago

### 3/5 — Ok app, but no integration with Apple Health

*2023-10-29, version 1.9.1*

The lack of integration with Apple Health is a missed opportunity. It would be a game changing feature to be able to navigate the records from Apple’s Health app, which can integrate with other data sources and is also easy to use.

### 3/5 — Needs work

*2022-11-13, version 1.2*

No ability to add BC vaccine card to Apple wallet and no ability to show proof of influenza vaccine at all as even going into the vaccine info negates to have a name showing. Some healthcare institutions still need flu vaccines on record and the only wsy to show a name and flu vaccine also shows other confidential unrelated health records.

### 2/5 — Minimal data structure / too much tapping

*2025-12-23, version 2.4.1*

Data records are there in a flat list by date. You need to open PDFs to see details. The LifeLabs online MyCareCompass is a better tools for reviewing results and lets you see trends over time.

The Health Gateway login process is terrible. Even with the BC Services Card app on the very same phone, it takes TEN TAPS of redirections and confirmations to log in. The icing on the cake is that you must agree to terms and conditions EVERY TIME you log in.

### 2/5 — App isn’t working

*2025-09-25, version 2.4.1*

Stuck in the Terms of service Agree Cancel page. Tried reinstalling didn’t help, what else can I do ?

### 2/5 — No Apple Health Integration

*2025-03-08, version 2.4.1*

No integration with Apple Health

### 2/5 — Not synching

*2025-02-01, version 2.4.1*

Installed update. App says it is synching, but will not synch/show any records in 2025.
