## What is Health Quest Ally?

Health Quest Ally turns gentle daily movement into a game for people living with chronic and autoimmune conditions. Kids and adults both.

Pick a champion. Do a short workout. Play the games. Build a streak.

The whole thing is built around one rule: the app never punishes you for resting.

HOW IT WORKS

You choose the condition you are working with, and your exercises and pacing follow from that. Then you pick a champion to play as.

Workouts are short. Most take a few minutes. No equipment, no gym, no need for it to be a good day.

The games run while you move. Tap the stars, forge your power, follow the breathing ring. They are there so a session is something to play through rather than count down, and missing them never costs you the workout.

Streaks that survive a rest day. Most apps break your streak the moment you stop. This one does not.

FLARE DAY MODE

Flare days happen. Turn on Flare Day Mode and everything softens: shorter sessions, gentler movements, lower targets. Your streak stays intact.

Nothing in the app frames a low day as a failure, and nothing tries to sell you anything on one.

ALSO IN THERE

A quick check-in before each session, so the app knows what kind of day it is.
XP, levels and badges as you go.
Champion Adventure, a board you roll on each time you finish a workout.
A Monthly Wellness Report.
Full English and Spanish.

FOR PARENTS

Children's accounts are set up and managed by a parent behind a consent gate. Parents get a dashboard with progress, activity, and weekly goals they can set themselves.

No social feed. No user-generated content. No chat with strangers.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.11.4 — 2026-08-10

This update fixes something important.

Until now, finished workouts were not saving to your account. Your XP, streak and history could be lost when you closed the app. That is fixed, and your progress now syncs and stays put.

Also in this release:

- Progress on this device and progress on your account are now merged, rather than one overwriting the other
- Reset Progress now genuinely clears your account, and says so clearly before you confirm
- The app now respects the system Reduce Motion setting throughout
- Workout records now show the correct number of exercises

We are sorry about the lost progress. Thank you for moving with us.

### 1.11.3 — 2026-07-29

Thanks for moving with us! This update:

- Fixes a streak-counting issue so your streak stays accurate across time zones
- Adds a proper rest-day card on the home screen, so a rest day reads as a rest day
- Fixes the workout summary so it names the plan you actually finished and the XP you actually earned
- Fixes the Back to Home button sitting off the bottom of the summary screen
- Corrects the day count on the parent progress report
- Refreshes some in-app wording to be gentler and clearer

Movement and wellness, not medical advice.

### 1.11.1 — 2026-07-14

This update restores a pause button on strength exercises so you can rest whenever you need to, and fixes an issue where an exercise could get stuck after skipping a premium move.

### 1.11.0 — 2026-07-05

We focused this update on accessibility and a little more joy. The app now fully supports Reduce Motion, Dynamic Type, and VoiceOver across the core screens. You can optionally log your reps as you go, your champion now moves with gentle idle and celebration animations, and there's a new mini-game called Power Forge for strength exercises.

### 1.10.0 — 2026-06-26

You can now try a workout before signing up — no account needed. Gentle Mode for flare days keeps your streak going when you rest. We also smoothed out setup for adults, with reliability fixes and polish throughout.
