## What is Health Sync by appyhapps?

Health Sync seamlessly syncs your data between health and fitness platforms.

• SYNC FROM: Apple Health, Coros, Google Health (Fitbit), Garmin Connect, HUAWEI Health, Oura, Polar Flow, Strava, and Suunto.
• SYNC TO: Apple Health, Coros, Google Health (Fitbit), Intervals.icu, Runalyze, Selfloops, Strava, Suunto, and TrainItAll.

It will sync data from the time you first use the app. Historical data (all data before the day of installation) can be synced after the free trial period. With Garmin Connect you can sync the last five years of activity data, and the last two years of other data (steps, sleep, heart rate etc.). With Polar Flow you can't sync historical data.

The sync runs automatically in the background a few times per hour (due to iOS restrictions on background processes). Activity GPS data is synced to Apple Health when the phone screen is unlocked. If activity data is synced while the phone is locked, Health Sync will add the GPS data to the Apple Health workout data the next time you open the Health Sync app.

Syncing from Apple Health requires your phone to be unlocked.

Health Sync is very easy to use. It offers a one-week free trial period. After the trial period, you can make a one-time purchase (lifetime license) to continue using the app and access the historical data sync option.

Try the app and see if it fits your needs. The data you can sync depends on the source app from which you sync data and the destination app(s) to which you sync the data.

Health Sync uses a privacy-by-design approach. The sync processes data on your phone, not on cloud servers. Your data won't be used and can't be accessed by others. Read the privacy policy for details.

Syncing between health data apps sometimes doesn't work as expected. Don't worry; almost all issues can be solved easily. You can check the Help Center menu in Health Sync. If you can't resolve the issue, you can send a Health Sync problem report (the last option in the Help Center menu) or email info@appyhapps.nl. You will receive support to solve the sync issue.

### 1/5 — Only syncs one week at a time

I have several years of data I’d like to migrate from Google Fitbit to Apple health. I was hopeful this app would do it. However, I’m finding it keeps telling me I have not given Apple health permissions, even though I have and it will only sync one week at a time with a manual sync so I have to literally sit here and push buttons to sync one week of data at a time for several years of data. Very disappointing and time-consuming.

The historical data sync works automatically, you don't need to do this manually, you only need patience, because it takes time due to Apple restrictions with the frequency and duration of background processes. If the automatic sync is not working properly, you can submit a Health Sync problem report: open the Help Center menu in Health Sync and select the last option: Submit a problem report.

After Google took over Fitbit my smart scale was useless. This app was really easy to set up and synchronised the data from the scale via Google health to Apple health.  It syncs weight, BMI, body fat and lean weight correctly.

Double write nutrition and activities to google health. After that Fitbit have wrong info about you. Cal spend/earn not true

Bought a Google Fitbit Air. Didn’t want a watch. Nothing from Apple like it.  I wanted  to take the vitals from Google Heath to Apple Health. I do prefer it to Google Health.  But they don’t integrate at all.  

Tried out the app free. Took me a couple days to learn that i don’t need to select the items and permissions each time. I just set the items i want  to sync and then once or twice a day open the app and hit sync or it does it automatically as well. It works very well and I would recommend it if you’re in the same boat. 

I really appreciated the fair one time price for something that simply shares your vitals between Google and Apple.  Thank you and well done! A+

I am trying to access my Google Fitbit charge 6 step data in Apple health to use in a shortcut. The Health Sync app needs a trigger in Shortcuts. Otherwise the date is never up-to-date when my shortcut runs.  So my intended use will not work.
Please add an action item in iPhone Shortcuts. Thanks

Pricing is good. I think the data but not what I needed to be synced.

Latest update messed up access to Google Health. It keeps complaining about auth and takes you to Fitbit, not google health, to sign in.

This update allows you to migrate to the native Google Health integration. Syncing data from Google Health to other apps works the same as before, with the added ability to sync blood glucose data. When syncing to Google Health, detailed sleep data is now supported. However, step data cannot be synced at this time. Google is investigating this issue, and we hope to add this functionality back in the future.

Additionally, this update fixes an issue for some HUAWEI Health users where syncing activities to Strava resulted in incomplete data and incorrect moving times.
