### 4/5 — A decent app but how it works ?!

*2024-04-22, version 4.04.05*

I enjoyed using the application, it’s a good source of information for your health and symptoms. You can explore what’s going on in your body! But I can’t understand how it works? What are the main mechanisms behind it and how it analyzes my data.

### 2/5 — Disappointing

*2023-01-24, version 4.03.19*

I found this app when searching online for a week-by-week fitness plan; a 12 week plan combining couch to 5k and some other podcasts (which I thought would be available through the app) caught my attention so I purchased the app. However, on opening the app I found it really hard to even find the article I’d seen online and, when I eventually did, none of the article links showing you how to do the exercises or download the podcasts work. Very frustrating! Turns out (after a lot of googling) that they have lifted the article text verbatim from another website and ALL of the plan podcasts/info is available for free through NHS choices!!

If you’re after an app that reminds you to exercise and asks you to note how you’re feeling that day, then I guess this works for that. I personally don’t think that’s worth £30 a year. But if you’ve come to it because of an article on the livehealthily.com website then I’d urge you to keep googling as it’s likely the info is available for free elsewhere.

### 3/5 — Good app but disappointing

*2022-12-30, version 4.03.19*

Disappointing that the app won’t sync with Apple Health on on exercise minutes despite turning the setting on/off many times. Definitely frustrating as this was the only reason I select this app to try.

### 2/5 — Tons of misses

*2022-05-25*

This app has a lot of promise based on the UI but way too many issues.
1) For some reason you can’t edit the actual initial setup of a goal afterward (like the icon or color, or scale). Yes you can adjust the goal metrics but what if I want to change how it’s configured?
2) There are two seemingly “default” goals (mood and energy). I didn’t see how to delete them, but rather “hide them”. Hiding them made them disappear into somewhere I wouldn’t know where to look if I wanted them shown again.
3) Metric scale doesn’t have ability to count 0 (therefore making something like counting number of drinks, with 0 being the goal, impossible.
4) Even the feedback form in the app seems faulty. Tried to use it but every time I tried to press return for a new bullet the form disappeared. Unsure if it was submitting or just closing out.
5) The graphs are a good start but I’d like to see a daily chart as well, not just weekly or monthly.

For a paid app this just falls way short.
Canceled my trial.

### 5/5 — just for robux lol

*2022-04-14, version 4.03.14*

just for roblox lol

### 5/5 — Suitable for kids and teens

*2022-04-07, version 4.03.14*

It’s great to see something like this created for kinds and teens. The app is super easy to use but still gives a nice overview which you can take to the neurologist if wanted. Especially the mood journal is great for my daughter to reflect on her day and how she’s feeling. That was usually really hard for her to communicate but with the icons she actually likes filling it out!

### 1/5 — You cannot use this app without a paid subscription

*2022-03-28*

You cannot use this app without a paid subscription (1-week free trial), which they tell you after they’ve collected your email. Boo

**Developer response:** Hi ReviewerGuy25 - we're sorry that you didn't feel like we clearly signposted that you were signing up to a subscription plan. We aim to be as transparent as possible and strive to fulfil this in everything we do. We would love to understand more about what you would like to have seen in the app, and what would have made you stick around longer to test the Free Trial period. Please contact support@livehealthily.com if you are happy to share your feedback.

Please refund my money

### 5/5 — Wow

*2022-03-14, version 4.03.13*

Great app, very useful!

### 1/5 — A bit of a scam

*2022-03-10*

I was forced to sign up in order to use a COVID test. Now I am trying to cancel the subscription but can not find any thing on app or website to cancel or a phone number to call for customer service. The app did work admirably in using it to analyze the COVID test results but I don’t need or want to continue to use the app. It should not be this difficult.

**Developer response:** Hello - we're sorry to hear about your experience, but are unsure as to why you were forced to sign up; we have no connection to COVID testing. Please contact support@livehealthily.com to provide more information. In order to cancel your subscription, please follow the steps detailed out in this link: https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT202039

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Waste of money, gained nothing from this app

*2023-08-05, version 4.03.22*

So what did the symptom assessment say?
“Sorry, I can't find any information about the symptoms you've told us. Please see a doctor.”

That was it. They weren’t crazy symptoms, pretty standard. So what exactly are people actually paying for?

Don’t bother. Just ask chatGPT

### 1/5 — This app is sexist - AVOID

*2023-06-20, version 4.03.21*

I input my symptoms, said I was assigned female at birth, it asked me a range of questions which felt relevant then I was asked if I have been tearful a lot lately. Got to the end, and it suggested *premenstrual syndrome*. I was incredibly insulted by this as I actually have a Vitamin B12 deficiency and my periods are normal, I was merely testing the app’s knowledge, I know what’s wrong with me.

I suspected if I was male it would give a different outcome. I ran another test, I input all my same symptoms, answered the questions the same, this time stated I was male. Surprise surprise it recommended I may have hyperthyroidism which is far more closely related to my symptoms and my existing condition, I also have hyperthyroidism running in the family.

Imagine going to a real life doctor with all your concerns and because you appear female they turn around and patronisingly suggest PMS. A waste of time and money. Do not bother.

You also cannot track your diet by means of a food diary, the custom trackers are extremely limited in what you can do with them. Absolutely not worth the subscription price.

### 1/5 — Rubbish

*2023-03-20, version 4.03.21*

I was disappointed when I opened the app thinking it was free. You have to pay or u can’t use the app. I’m sure the app itself is fine but don’t be fooled into thinking it’s free.

### 1/5 — Used to be a good free app..

*2022-10-07, version 4.03.19*

Now you’re forcing a subscription on us and you won’t even allow us to request our data? Terrible.

### 1/5 — DID NOT WORK!

*2022-07-07*

Every single time I tried to open, “Error….” And since I could NEVER open it, even tried online through a browser, NOTHING. And I flippin paid for a year. Boy was I stupid.

### 1/5 — Requires subscription

*2022-06-21*

Doesn’t even seem to have any basics without a subscription. Should have to buy before downloading as it’s pointless to download.

### 1/5 — you have to pay to even use the app

*2022-05-20*

^^^ theres no free version of the app u have to pay or delete your accout.

**Developer response:** Hi giamxrie - we're sorry to hear that you are dissatisfied with having to pay to use our app. Unfortunately to ensure that we are able to offer an industry-leading experience and continue to improve our services we do ask for a fee, but we do try to ensure all users have the chance to really evaluate the app's potential before committing to pay for the subscription through a 7-day free trial. Please feel free to contact us directly at support@livehealthily.com if you have any further feedback for the team.

### 1/5 — Ugh

*2022-05-04*

I searched Kardia on App Store and this site was the first one to pop up. Downloaded it and I couldn’t figure out how to use my kardia? Why falsely do that? So disappointed that companies do this, it a shame.

**Developer response:** Hi LaughingPatti - we're sorry to hear that you ended up downloading our app unintentionally. In no way have we tried to mislead anyone but we do proactively advertise on the Apple Play Store based on various categories such as 'Health' which is why you would have seen our advert whilst searching for Kardia. We apologise for the confusion, but do try to clearly state that we are Healthily through all our marketing communications, and ensure you can cancel the app within 7 days after starting the free trial, to ensure you aren't charged if you end up downloading the app by mistake. Please contact us directly on support@livehealthily.com if you have any further questions.

### 1/5 — Paid app

*2022-04-21*

After creating an account it asks you to pay a subscription. It should disclose this from the beginning rather than collecting user data first and then asking you to pay.

**Developer response:** Hi Codingchamp!!@Ruby33! - we're sorry to hear that you didn't feel we had clearly communicated that the app is subscription only, we do try to be transparent at every opportunity from advertising, to app store listing, to app onboarding. We do offer a 7-day free trial to ensure all users have the chance to really evaluate the app's potential before committing to pay for the subscription. Please feel free to contact us directly at support@livehealthily.com if you have any further feedback for the team.
