## What is HEALTHConnect (HC)?

Powered by MU Health Care, HEALTHConnect is designed to help individuals and families stay informed, stay educated and take a more active role in their health. Through the HEALTHConnect mobile app, you have real-time, easy access to your latest health care information and the services needed to plan, understand and engage in your care.

After you create your online HEALTHConnect account, simply sign into the mobile app with your username and password. You can also set up Touch or Face ID to avoid typing your username and password again. Once logged in, you can connect with your care team using the following methods:

• Securely message your provider
• Review lab results
• Request prescription renewals
• Access medical information including your allergies, immunizations, medications, most recent vital signs, and more

It never loads. It’s so irritating how drs will only send messages via portal but I can never get the message to load

The app needs an update to improve the response time. It is as slow as molasses.

I have really liked the convenience of the app for years, but over the past couple of years the quality has declined significantly. It has intermittent problems with face ID, which is annoying but at least you could still sign in. Recently, open the app and it just says loading…the circle will go round and round, but nothing will happen.  No access is not ok. Even the web version doesn’t sign in sometimes.

The app will say that you have too many failed attempts at using face recognition even when you first open it and the camera can clearly see your face. Then it crashes every time you try to sign in with username and password. The app is completely bugged and always has been since they started it. You would think with all the money that MU generates that they can afford a decent app that actually works. Makes me worried that they don’t have a care for all my personal information and don’t know what HIPAA is or honors my patients rights

The app has a lot of good information. The issues I have are the Face ID and deleting old messages. If it doesn’t capture your face on the initial try, it locks your Face ID out and you have to login. One attempt failed then you have to re-enter all your login information. The second issue is trying to delete old messages. Instead of being able to delete several at a time, you have to open each message and put it in the trash. It’s time-consuming if you have a lot of messages.

The app will not work on my devices anymore.  It simply sits and spins “Loading” on all of my devices.
Just go to the website, it’s at least functional.

Can’t use facial recognition or touch to sign in anymore. Can’t even send messages to my doctors anymore either, you get very few options to choose from which don’t even list what I’m needing.
