Healthfirst Cares is intended to assist patients in managing their diabetes with guidance from their providers. Healthfirst Cares has two versions–Healthfirst Cares (OTC) and Healthfirst Cares Rx. Healthfirst Cares combines the FDA-cleared medical device functionality of Healthfirst Cares (OTC) and Healthfirst Cares Rx with another non-FDA-cleared wellness and educational/self-management product. Healthfirst Cares (OTC) and Healthfirst Cares Rx should not be used by patients with gestational diabetes or patients using an insulin pump. It empowers you to effectively manage your overall health. With updates on Blood Glucose, medications, activity, sleep, blood pressure, food intake, and weight, you can effortlessly keep track of your wellness. The app clearly indicates whether your Blood Glucose and Blood Pressure levels are normal, low, or high, and provides actionable advice on what to do in response to this data. Sharing your information with your doctor or health provider is seamless, allowing them to stay informed about your daily health status. This app has become a crucial part of my daily routine since I downloaded it over two years ago, and I couldn’t be happier with its performance. It gives me tremendous peace of mind regarding my health, and I can confidently say it is 100% accurate. The best part is that I am completely in tune with my health, and all of this is at no cost to me. I feel incredibly fortunate that Healthfirst offers this invaluable app to their clients. Thank you. ### 5/5 — Cannot open app after update *2024-09-17* I just ran the update as requested and now I cannot open the app. It keeps taking me back to the Apple Store. 9/17/24 I received a call from Jenny of tech support who walked me through the problem I was having with my app not opening. After deleting and reinstalling the app, I am now back on track. It is working as it should. Jenny was wonderful and she addressed my needs and helped me fix the problem.
