Despite valid registration, app fails with communication error, as others have noted. Healthlink’s website support said, essentially, “the app is broken”. Seems like they would either pull it or fix it. Instead, the link to the app remains on their main web portal. Proud indeed ! ### 1/5 — RIDICULOUS *2023-07-17* This is the app Healthlink’s member website asks me to download, and their App Store info confirms it’s for Members, but after then installing it I cannot register with it. I call Healthlink, they say “wrong app” and to use some odd website instead. I register there, where all seems okay, and then return to this “member” app that will now not let me login, claiming some communication error. I’m thinking I should’ve stuck with BCBS. Good grief! ### 1/5 — Simply doesn't work *2023-06-26* I've been successful in the past logging into the app but it's broken at the moment giving me an error code, "Connection Error Can not build up trust communication with servers.(SSLTLS001)" whatever that means. I shouldn’t have wasted my time. I can’t even get through the registration process. I wouldn’t even give one star if I didn’t have to in order to complete my review. ### 1/5 — Registration issues *2021-06-28, version 1.0* Update: 2nd day of trying still unsuccessful. Entered my current ID as well as my new ID that will take effect 3 days from now. Nothing. Not even a “help with set up” option. I’d love to give this app more than one stars but it wouldn’t even let me past the registration process. Apparently your current online access doesn’t cross over to the app. After a few unsuccessful attempts at logging in I tried to set up as a new user in the app and it simply wouldn’t let me hit submit. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work at all *2026-03-02* I’m writing this review at the time of iOS 21. As soon as I enter my username / password it crashes & disappears. This app hasn’t been updated in over 4 years. I wouldn’t expect it to work. They should delete it from the App Store & stop asking people to download it on their website. ### 1/5 — Just plain bad *2026-02-04* App crashes repeatedly. Removed, reinstalled, multiple attempts. Changed username/password. Have to use the web app. Which isn’t the end of the world, but based on reviews, this has been a recurring problem for years.
