This app is great and meets all my needs, food tracking, workout planning, muscle recovery tracking, etc. Only wish is integration with Apple health and the ability to add food that does not have a barcode. I haven’t seen a way to do this in the app the only way I’ve been able to add food that’s not in the directory is with a barcode. Once those two things get added it will be best fitness app on the App Store in my opinion and will earn that extra star from me!

Working on integrations for apple health and official non-barcoded foods. 

For the moment you can create a custom food as that doesn't require a barcode.

### 5/5 — It’s Great to Have a Free Alternative to MyFitnessPal and LoseIt

The alternatives are far too expensive and this app gets the job done nicely! I’m happy to contribute to the food database and not be forced to spend $20 a month for a barcode scanner. I’m so glad I found HealthMode since tracking what I eat really helps me manage sodium and calorie intake.

I’m very impressed with this food tracking app. I liked it scanning barcodes is free and have easily tracked my food for the day. Interface is clean, intuitive and required zero thought trying to figure out how to use it. I just deleted my fitness pal, in place of this.

I’m LOVING using this app!  It’s new app so I’m adding my favorite foods to the list and can’t wait to see what others add as the app grows

I’ve been following the journey of this app’s development since the beginning and it’s so amazing to finally see it come to life. One guy was fed up enough with premium subscriptions to create his own free fitness app with all the premium features and now we get to reap the benefits - it’s awesome!

I was expecting some off-brand fitness app that is just a MyFitnessPal wannabe. But this app is better than I imagined. 

it really is 100% free i haven’t seen any “premium only” features, even the features that would be considered premium in other apps. I definitely recommend to those who want a free alternative!
