## What is Healthy Chit Chat?

Healthy Communities is a communications platform for nonprofits that uses solution driven technology to empower collaboration and increase the efficiency of client services. 

As a nonprofit regional response tool, this platform was designed to create a working environment for collaborating nonprofits to build solutions that address the basic need challenges of their clients.  

Built around a Shared–But-Separate client database this application becomes a powerful platform for client need assessment and response. Nonprofits who’s missions intersect with  Hunger, Homelessness, Mental and Physical Health, Clothing or Elder Isolation can find the Healthy Communities useful and effective. 

For example, for those nonprofits focused on food security, the Healthy Communities platform is built to discover a client’s Nutritional Deficit and then provides a detailed solution to help meet the client’s individual or family's nutritional needs. 

Other nonprofits can use Healthy Communities to initiate and track referrals. The “system” ensures that the loop is closed and that both nonprofit and client can communicate within our system. 

Healthy Communities can also send out text alerts to clients in the event of an emergency, closings because of weather or any other issue. This communication can be done on an individual, group or entire client list basis.
