You are invited to join the Healthy Oregon Project (HOP) – a research study that combines genetic cancer screening, using a saliva sample, with surveys about a person’s environment, behaviors, and lifestyle to understand their risks for cancer and other diseases. With this app you can: - Review the study information and consent to participate - Complete surveys about your health habits and environment to aid us in early detection research and allow us to follow your health for as long as you choose to participate - Find out where and how to donate a saliva sample for genetic screening - View your genetic screening results, which are provided at no cost, and will identify whether your DNA indicates a risk for certain inheritable diseases. - Get updates about the study and health resources We anticipate enrolling more than 100,000 people in the study. FIX IT! ### 1/5 — Does not work *2024-10-25* Does not currently allow me to proceed with the initial login and account creation. I can't get past the password creation page. It is extremely frustrating that this is the only way to become a participant....there is no web page option, and this app does not work. ### 1/5 — App won’t let me choose state *2024-07-12* First question asks where you live. I put in Oregon and it shows 2 choices for Oregon. Nothing happens no matter what I choose. ### 2/5 — Can’t log in *2024-06-21* As another reviewer noted I completed surveys but can’t log back in to the app. The password reset doesn’t work. ### 1/5 — Did the initial surveys and received kit but can’t login or reset *2024-03-06* The initial surveys never had me set up a user account so when I received the kit in the mail and went to login, I couldn’t. There is no support option. there is no way to reset password since it doesn’t work. there is no way to sign up for new account. ### 5/5 — Saved my life! *2024-02-27* Used HOP to get free genetic testing and found out I have one of the breast cancer genes. As a result, I had a preventative mastectomy and reduced my risk of getting breast cancer from 60% to 1%. Thank you HOP! ### 1/5 — Trouble with app *2023-12-24* When I try to sign up, in the app, and join the study, i cannot get past the screen for Oregon. It gives me a screen to choose what state I live Iin. When I do, it takes me to another screen that lists Oregon there 3 times. When i choose any of them, nothing happens. I got all excited about getting the kit today, only to find out that the app is NOT giving me an option to register the tube. Very disappointed with this government program that is costing the Taxpayers a ton of money. Bet you that Gov.
