And yes I followed all instructions and tried many times and heard the exact same static sound as I did before I even put it on my chest and then my tummy. My room was silent and I used earphones. The app works please see the examples in the links on Hear My Baby 2.0 (and across our socials), but you do first need to check it is set up correctly and that you are the correct number of weeks. We don't recommend trying until at least 16 weeks, and best results are around 27 weeks. Hear My Baby 2.0 has a brand new instruction mode and hopefully you can follow these to help you to achieve a result. Particularly you'll want to find your own Heartbeat first to check the setup. The app teaches you the difference between yours and the babies heart rate too so you know the right one when you find it. My baby is a wriggler and it can take a minute or two to find where she’s sitting but I always find the heartbeat eventually and the rhythm is clear and strong. I love that I can record them to keep and share it with family, very cool!
