## What is Hear2Rise?

Hear2Rise is an innovative flashcard App, where simplicity is King. Unlike other Apps that incorporate images and text, Hear2Rise focuses exclusively on Audio. This simple approach yields powerful results, making the tasks of creating, using, and sharing cards simple beyond compare. Want to learn Spanish? Just dictate the Spanish words and corresponding translation into the App, one after the other, using our simple UI (user interface). Already know Spanish and want to learn French? Just do the same thing, dictate the Spanish word followed by the French translation. Want to learn (or have your child learn) the times table? Again, just dictate your “Challenge” and the corresponding “Response”, and that’s it! You could literally create 20 cards in less than a minute!

Once created, your deck is synced to the cloud, making your library available on multiple devices; you can even share your deck with friends. When doing mundane activities like taking a walk or riding a train, you can use our auto-play feature to learn your deck; you can set it to shuffle, continuously loop, and repeat each card multiple times before proceeding. Just set your preferences, press go, and let the learning begin! When reviewing cards one by one, you can mark your mastery of each card as strong, weak, or in between, and then filter your playback by its’ marked mastery level.

Each card has a Challenge and associated Response. The application of this is endless. Some examples of decks you could easily create are:
• Take a study guide and record the question (Challenge) and the answer (Response). Then play it back to master them.
• Learn technical terms
• Learn languages
• Learn math facts and formulas
• Store trivia cards
• Memorize theater lines (via Series Mode)
• Memorize biology processes like the Krebs Cycle (via Series Mode)
• Memorize case law for law school
• Memorize chemical equations

If you can hear it, you can learn it!

### 5/5 — So simple

*2021-10-05*

I love this App. Super simple. I can create decks in minutes, listen to them on a loop, and even share with friends. Most of all I use it to create decks for my younger kids to memorize things like spelling, times table, and even speeches. Love that I can create a room, and all my followers automatically get my new decks and cards!

### 2/5 — Good features, needs Dev TLC

*2017-07-26*

This app has the core features I was searching for; but some of them are not working.

I like the challenge response interface. The problem in that UI is that it is not clear when I am recording or not. I figured it out by trial and error; but I fear many of the others I will be asking to use this app will think it's just broken. An easy fix would be if a place on the screen (NOT WHERE MY FINGER IS) turns red while recording.

The share stacks is wonderful; but when I access the shared stack the screen goes blank after a long loading process. Something must be broke.

I really hope this app gets some TLC so I can start using it and sharing with my students.

Thanks

**Developer response:** Hello QSDoct - Really sorry about the trouble you faced. This App actually wasn't complete when you tested it. We posted on the store just to share with friends and family....but you found it :-). That being said, over 4 years later, we've finally completed it and feel you'll love it. It's simpler, faster, more powerful, and very stable. We've implemented a rooms feature that allows you to easily share your decks and deck updates with followers simply by them following your room. Also, each room, folder, and deck has a share code that you can give anyone, which makes them a follower of that entity. Please give it a try and let us know your thoughts. You can share your thoughts by email info@hipoint.io. Thanks!
