Not the biggest issue in the world (I have AirPods) but would’ve been nice to incorporate the ability to use them for calls as well. ### 3/5 — Pretty good overall. But. *2026-07-10, version 2.7.51* The app works well, but there are a few annoyances. When I use the app it insists that I raise the volume on my iPhone so that it can communicate with the hearing aids using the speaker. I get that but there must be a way it can raise the volume programmatically when switching to the program and return the volume to the level it was at before it was raised wha. The program is pushed to the background. Also have an issue switching programs. It switches but when I return to the main screen it shows the previous program still active. It’s not, just an indicator issue. ### 2/5 — Poor customer service *2026-07-03, version 2.7.51* The charger they sent has a 1 year warranty but 6 months in it does not work and they will not answer calls would be better to have replaceable batteries. I really did like this app to begin with as I needed it for streaming, particularly for my television and on my iPhone. But now this app is just garbage I can spend an trying to make connection trying all the things they suggest and I can’t get it to pair or once in a while while I can’t get it to make a connection very very disturbing. Don’t know what happened to it, but it’s not for quite some time all the things you say it has capability of doing, and yet it can’t do what it needs to do the most help me with my hearing needs to make life more enjoyable. This app is just bad news. Else I’d drop this app in a heartbeat and I’d tell everybody about it will still tell people about this app if I get the opportunity I don’t have. I did it one time couple of months ago, not anymore. ### 4/5 — Needs a User selectable Default setting *2025-09-09, version 2.7.21* The only real issue I have with the App (iOS version) is that after a power cycle the App returns to a Volume setting of “8” and a balance of “0”. This means that I have to set my preferences each time I take the hearing aids out of the charge case and put them on. The settings can’t be changed while listening to music or on a phone call. The App just stopped connecting to my devices and I had no way to change the settings. I’ve tried calling and trying to get help, well let’s just say after an entire day of trying to contact them and not being able to I gave up. I’ve left email messages to call me, good thing I wasn’t holding my breath!!! Whole bunch of $$$ down the drain and haven’t used these for years!!!! Need significant improvement given the cost of these hearing aids. Once it is setup, watch tv, go bad to app and volume will self adjust to a different setting every time. According to app it is up to date on current software. When I got them I was amazed at the difference in quality. I truly love the Horizon hearing aids. They pay for the audiologist visits for the first few months until everything is adjusted just right for me. Thank you. ### 5/5 — First hearing aids *2025-06-10, version 2.7.10* This is my first experience with hearing aids and this app has been priceless for adjusting to them. Pairing with my iPhone makes phone calls a breeze and the quality of the sound is remarkable. The many filters, targeting specific environments, are easy to use. One small drawback is that the settings return to default each time the hearing aids are docked for charging or if you turn them off.
