No ads and free. All of a sudden it asks for money and you can’t take your pulse because of ads. Like the other reviews, I’m not sure about its accuracy, as readings were higher than an app I used previously. But it felt like readings were consistent and it was useful to look at my history. Now the history has been locked out of the free version, which makes it pointless. The cost of this app is ridiculous. It instructs me to press start and cover the camera lens on my phone. But pressing start does nothing. Even pressing start and covering the camera lens as instructed. But when it’s reading 80 bpm and my heart rate is 115 bpm that’s way off. I understand an online phone app is not going to be accurate at all. Doesn’t read well when hr is above 100 but it’s a good quick indicator if your fate is fast where u then check manually. This is pretty good for an app to read heart rate I use it as an assessment when I feel palpitations or in episodes of light heaviness. It does not have other capabilities. The best thing it has not in app purchase. Unfortunately, when I open the app, there is no lifetime subscription offered at all let alone a free one. The only subscriptions offered both cost money and you cannot proceed past that point until you actually allow the app to charge you.
