## What is Heart Space?

The first app to offer an inner experience of Sufi spirituality through . 
audio recordings of guided spiritual practices. HeartSpace also includes a treasury of 1130 inspirational texts from Rumi, Hadith, and Qur'an, that have been specifically chosen to support the awakening of the heart. These selections can be programmed according to your choice of time and frequency to bring remembrance into your daily life. 

The free app is complete in itself, offering a comprehensive and many-leveled introduction to the practice of remembrance (dhikr). Those who wish to continue and go deeper can subscribe to a version of the app that will offer further practices, more daily reminders, recordings of Sufi music and Quran. 

The core of HeartSpace is a series of guided contemplations with dhikrs to initially be followed in sequence, but which eventually can be listened to in any order and as often as you like. 

This app is produced by The Threshold Society (Sufism.org), a non-profit educational foundation based in the United States, and affiliated with the Mevlevi Order.  The app includes a recording in Arabic and English of the Mevlevi Wird, a litany of recitations traditionally recited by Mevlevi dervishes, presented here in seven parts, one for each day of the week.

Beautiful to receive messages of love from Rumi each day.

The spiritual practices in the form of guided meditations are helping to strengthen my daily practice.

The sound of the recitation of the Mevlevi Sufi prayers as I weave in and out of people in London and travelling to and from London and Manchester adds spiritual magic to my day.

I love this app and would not be without it.

Heart Space is an exquisite and unique app for those seeking nourishment for their hearts and souls. It encompasses the spirit and light of Islamic spirituality beautifully, offering structured acts of worship, quote reminders and music that help draw one's attention back to the Divine throughout the day.

Since downloading Heart Space a few months ago, it has helped re-energize my spiritual routine. Listening to excerpts from the Mevlevi Wird in the early hours of the morning is an uplifting way to start the day. My thoughts and focus are aligned toward God rather than other worldly distractions. It keeps me centred and at peace.

I often listen to the audio recordings during my commute to and from work, which enables me to sustain my focus and tranquility and energize my spiritual radar to appreciate the beauty and blessings in my life. 

I set up quote reminders -- drawn from verses of the Quran, Hadith of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and excerpts of Rumi -- such that they pop up at times of the day when I tend to be most busy at work. This enables me to take a breath, pause and reflect, and thus reduces stresses and encourages patience.

Following the evening prayer, Isha, I will often practice zikr, or repeating phrases of remembrance of God. Heart Space enables us to participate in this practice more easily and with the company of other believers.

This is truly a beautiful app that, when used to accompany regular prayers and fasting, helps us to encourage and strengthen our attempts to achieve Self Surrender, or Islam.
