### 4/5 — Application intéressante

*2024-09-04*

Bien

### 2/5 — Same results regardless of 100% heart score

*2024-08-20*

Downloaded this app when having issues with breathing. Would up on urgent care. The heart rate and oxygen read the same as the ER. However, haven’t been able to take oO2 readings but for one time. Also, it continues to read high stress, and high tension. Saying I have very little energy to sustain life. How can I get a 100% heart score and have it say that I’m a weary traveler with possible arrhythmia. At one point, I saw graphs of HRV readings but don’t know how I got there and can’t get back. Not an intuitive app.

### 1/5 — Do Not rely on it

*2024-08-11*

I have checked it in real time comparing it with other measurement devices used in hospital, it is absolutely inaccurate.

### 1/5 — Sneaky cost not revealed

*2024-08-10*

Very sneaky cost of app not revealed until last step of downloading.

### 1/5 — DO NOT Download

*2024-08-05*

I accessed the App hoping to “try” the monitor. I was immediately charged for one year so I immediately cancelled my subscription- which I did not want. I cannot find how to have the charge reversed!!! DO NOT DOWNLOAD There is no FREE TRIAL!!!!

### 1/5 — App needs to be banned from App Store

*2024-08-01*

Pulse works well enough, however the app is programmed to send you scare notifications which once you click them takes you to the paid subscription part. I’ve gotten theses messages when I wasn’t even wearing my watch or hadn’t done a pulse reading with the app. Don’t trust. Needs to be removed. Can only give 1 star to post review, otherwise this would be a -5 star review.

### 4/5 — Accurate Heart rate

*2024-07-31*

Compared with my blood pressure monitor and was the same BPM.

Not sure how accurate the HVR and how my stress and energy levels are. I do feel that I have a much higher level than what it is recording the first thing in the morning. I am very active and play tennis 2 times a week. The app does not let me use all it functions prior to an in app purchase. I would need a week to see if I get enough value to purchase the app. Or I would suggest them to use ads to make the app free.

### 1/5 — Not trustworthy

*2024-07-26*

Always tell me that my heart is not good without any further measurement.

### 1/5 — Fake notifications to scare you about your health!

*2024-07-13*

I liked this app to measure my heart rate, but once I stopped the paying for the additional features, I got terrible notifications. For example: “Abnormal blood pressure detected! Your health is at serious risk!” I have never given the app my blood pressure information and it definitely cannot measure it in its own. It sends notifications making you think there is something wrong with your heart, then when you click on them you need to pay to see the “information.”

I can tell that the notifications are fake, but I know some people, especially older people who use this to track heart health, may get very scared from these notifications! It’s terrible to take advantage of people like this and create fear for money. Do better.

**Developer response:** Thank you for reaching out and sharing your concerns. We do not intimidate users in any way. Our app is designed to help monitor heart rate and provide health suggestions, but these are for reference only and should not replace professional medical advice. If you have concerns about your health, we strongly recommend consulting a doctor or medical professional.

We greatly value user feedback and will continue to improve the app’s features and user experience. Thank you for your patience and understanding. If you have any further questions or need additional assistance, please feel free to contact us.

### 1/5 — Waste of money

*2024-07-11*

I bought this app less than a week ago as the doctor advised me to monitor my blood pressure as it's too high. Every reading I have taken is completely different to a conventional blood pressure monitor. I want my money back.

**Developer response:** Thank you for sharing your experience with us. I sincerely apologize for the issues you've encountered while using the app. Our app is designed to help users monitor their blood pressure, but we understand that readings may vary between devices.

To ensure you receive accurate readings, we recommend maintaining a consistent environment and conditions when using the app. Additionally, please make sure to follow the instructions carefully.

If you would like to request a refund, please follow these steps: go to Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions, and select the option to manage your subscription.

### 1/5 — It works… but

*2024-06-21*

Used it twice, after that it would send me notifications like ‘urgent medical attention required!!’ So I’d open the app and be greeted by an ad…

The next was ‘don’t underestimate the importance of this notification’

So I did a test… all fine.
Straight after, it shows me a message saying ‘subscribe now for £8.99 per month, cancle anytime (yes the app developers misspelt ‘cancel’)
Uninstalled.
I think I’ll stick to proper blood pressure monitors in future or buy the Withings one.

**Developer response:** Thank you for sharing your experience with the app. I'm sorry to hear that the notifications have caused confusion and frustration. Our goal is to provide valuable health insights, and I appreciate your feedback about the ads and messaging.

We are constantly working to improve our app and ensure that our notifications are both helpful and clear. Your input regarding the subscription spelling error has been noted, and we will address it promptly.

If you have any further suggestions or issues, please feel free to reach out. Your feedback is important to us!

### 1/5 — Blood Pressure

*2024-06-15*

I just paid the money to upgrade this. Huge mistake. It took my blood pressure much higher than my blood pressure ever is. I always run low. It won't allow me to retake it. I am a nurse. Took it again manually, my blood pressure is much lower than what this is reading, and it's reading what it normally reads at my doctors office. Don't be sucker into spending money like I just did. Learn from other mistakes.

### 1/5 — SCARE TACTIC SCAMMERS

*2024-06-07*

THIS IS MY THIRD BAD REVIEW! DO NOT GET THIS APP!!! I downloaded the app but didn't subscribe. They keep sending me SCARY notifications with FRIGHTENING pics (like one of a real person grasping their painful chest) that I'm having a heart attack and need to go to the ER right away. Or that my blood pressure is "OFF THE CHARTS" and I need to go to the ER. I'm not even holding my phone or have my watch on. And there's isn't an app out there that can take your blood pressure even with the apple watch. You have to do that manually and enter it in! Now I just got one that said in boldface, "YOU HAVE DIABETES!!!". Can you even believe that!? Talk about scare tactics, these notifications could ACTUALLY scare someone into a heart attack! I go and check my blood pressure ands it's 130 over 79 with a pulse of 80. Does that sound like I need to go to the ER? My wife is a Registered Nurse and I have her check it all. And I just had labs done and I DO NOT have diabetes. THEY JUST WANT YOUR MONEY AND HAVE NO CARE ABOUT WHETHER THEY FREAK YOU OUT OR NOT. THIS APP I BELIEVE COULD KILL SOMEONE WITH A BAD HEART BY SCARING THEM!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Should have read the reviews

*2024-10-03*

Like a lot of reviews here, this app is very misleading. You cannot take your blood pressure even though that’s what they advertise. I was constantly getting alarming notifications which weren’t true at all. Minutes after I signed up and discovered you can’t take your blood pressure I immediately cancelled and sent an email to customer service to get a refund. I’m waiting on a response. Why would you send alarming notifications about someone’s blood pressure if it doesn’t even take blood pressure readings! Very disappointing.

**Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback! The push notification from our app is based on real-time analysis of your health data. Sometimes, factors like improper finger placement, insufficient lighting, or movement can cause brief abnormal readings during heart rate detection.

If your measurement results show a normal heart rate, it means the device is working accurately. We recommend keeping your hand still during detection and using the app in a well-lit environment for more accurate readings. If you continue receiving similar push notifications, please feel free to contact us so we can help you investigate further.

### 1/5 — Beware, this app may cause heart attacks

*2024-09-11*

I downloaded the app and only used for two days when out of nowhere I received a notification that I was at risk of having a stroke… Despite not believing a single in this foolery, I used the app to check my heart rate and as I suspected, my heart was beating at its normal and regular pace. The notification was probably a distasteful trick designed to direct my attention to the app after hours of idleness. If you think about downloading the app, I sincerely pray and hope that you won’t receive the same notification in the most awkward or uncomfortable situations because if your experience is similar to mine, its outcome may not be identical. Beware.

EDIT

Do yourself and your loved ones a favor, do not download this cheap distasteful piece of software. As many have pointed out, it sends fake triggering alarms suggesting you are in immediate danger. Beware !

**Developer response:** Thank you for reaching out and sharing your concerns. We do not intend to alarm users in any way.

### 1/5 — Problem with payment

*2024-09-09*

I’ve paid for subscription and my payment method was declined but the money goes out of my account! And the app didn’t recognise that I paid. Why this happened?

**Developer response:** I’m sorry to hear about the trouble you’re experiencing with your subscription.

It’s possible that there was an issue with the payment processing, which may explain why the payment was declined but still appeared to go out of your account. Please check with your bank to confirm the transaction status.

In the meantime, I recommend trying to log out and back into the app, as this may help it recognize your subscription. If the problem persists, please reach out to us with more details, and we’ll do our best to assist you.

Thank you for your patience!

### 1/5 — Poor Customer Service

*2024-09-06*

Contacted the developer twice about the program and didn't get a response.
It indicates there is an in-app purchase but it charges you right away to use the program. Scammers!! They take your money and don't respond to emails. Don't buy it

### 1/5 — Beware: False Advertising and Misleading Claims

*2024-08-28*

SCAM!!! This app shamelessly advertises features it simply does not have. Despite visuals and promises of being able to measure blood pressure with just a fingertip, all it can do is measure heart rate—something any basic fitness tracker can manage. After purchasing the app under the impression that it was a cutting-edge health monitoring tool, I was disappointed to learn it merely allows for the logging of blood pressure readings from separate devices. This misleading claim is not only unethical but dangerously deceptive, as it could lead users to rely on it for crucial health monitoring. The developers have chosen to prioritize profit over integrity and user safety. Users looking for genuine health tracking tools should steer clear of this app and consider more transparent and reliable alternatives.

**Developer response:** Thank you for reaching out and sharing your feedback. We apologize for any confusion caused. We highly value every user’s experience and will continue to improve the product’s features to help you better track your blood pressure. If you have any further questions or suggestions, please feel free to contact us.
Thank you for your understanding and support.

### 1/5 — Misleading headline, NOT a BP measure app!

*2024-08-26*

I actually would like to get my money back! I was misled by the false advertisement that implied that a user can actually capture their BP using this app via a tip of the finger presses to a camera. So, I did purchase this app under impression that I will be able to measure my blood pressure. However, it turns out that “Heartbeet” app only works as a “journal” for BP record. App does have a section where a user can manually enter blood pressure measurements taken by a real BP measurement device, but “Heartbeet” app does not provide a smartphone with an ability to measure BP. At first I thought that I just do not know how to used this app for BP measurements and looked for any hints and tips in a settings section - none to be found!
The only “automated” feature that I can identify within the app - is a heart beat rate measurement using phone’s camera by capturing pulse through a blood flow in a finger tip. I am not sure how the “blood oxygen level” is measured either, but I can give that pass by as I saw in the hospital nurse measuring blood Oxygen with a device that simply being clipped on a forefinger.
Overall I feel that this app is a fraud for gullible people like me. Again, I want my money back!

### 1/5 — Blood pressure monitor

*2024-08-19*

Says free but after loading app you can’t even try it unless you pay $49 and change.

### 1/5 — Wrong heart rate measurement

*2024-08-19*

Application showing 15 more than real heart rate .

### 1/5 — Scare tactics

*2024-08-16*

Used this one day when I didn’t have my apple watch to measure my heart rate and then forgot about it. After a few days I kept getting scary notifications like “seek medical help immediately” and “extremely dangerous blood pressure”. I am in the medical field and know that this app has no way of assessing those things when I am not even using my phone but it still is stressful seeing those kinds of messages pop up.
