I also hate that I don’t get furniture back as often with the honeys. I also wish there was more to do or buy that’s cheaper. Just something to keep me interested while I’m playing. ### 4/5 — great concept, but a few points *2024-01-21* I’d like to start by saying this game is very cute and I’m heavily invested in collecting the furniture. That being said, I’m having a difficult time actually acquiring the said furniture. I’ve gained a few pieces so either that is all that is available atm or it’s potentially not balanced between sending and collecting. I’ve mixed so many of the same jars of honey that I haven’t received furniture for, and when the crow returns, there’s no extra gift. I really do love the simplicity of this game though, it’s perfect for laid back cozy days! If you’re considering downloading this game, I do highly recommend! 🥰 ### 4/5 — Update needed *2024-01-14* It’s a very cute game, but just the same thing over and over. Needs updated with more seed choices and decor options to buy. I love the graphics and casual game play. No forced ads which is great. Only a couple things I would change. I would really like to have the honey combos I used viewable in the recipe book. Like when viewing the honey type I made it shows what I mixed together to make it. I can’t say enough how beautiful the graphics are. I love bees and cozy games, so it's perfect for me. However, I filled the raven’s pouch with 3 honey jars (none of which gave furniture or anything when created or sold), and after an hour and a half of waiting for him to come back, I only made 60 coins. When 2 or the seed types cost 100 each, one that costs 1000, all furniture costing a minimum of 2000, and any soil, fertilizer, or expansions to the garden costing a lot, too, 60 coins per delivery of honey is nowhere near enough to keep up. The seeds that I CAN afford because of that, or watching ads to get the 100 for basics, only give the basic honey combination types, which sell for less, so it’s essentially going to be days before I can even afford one piece of furniture. I get that it’s meant to be a laid back, long-lasting game, but I find it hard to stay motivated to come back with little to no progress each time I play, since I’m not going to spend all day everyday on it. ### 4/5 — Great app, just minor improvements needed *2023-09-19* I love this game a bunch and it’s very generous with its materials. The only problem I have is that I wish there was more to this game, like missions so we can unlock things faster. I understand this is a slow paced game but I’m basically doing nothing waiting for my crow to come back. Which brings me to my next statement, it definitely needs to add in upgrades. Like 10,000 for the crow to max out on its speed not all the way ofc, because that wouldn’t be fun but just enough so that I’m not waiting an hour every time I try to sell everything. Also I would like to buy him silly hats :), you guys could probably profit off of that too, if you have a selection where you can buy with coins. Then have a selection where you can buy really silly hats for the crow! This game is pretty amazing as is but I can see it becoming so much more down the road. You guys are doing phenomenal! ### 4/5 — Some bugs, great game. *2023-09-14* I absolutely love this game! It is super calming and very pleasant to the eye. The concept is great. There are a few bug, such as the new Halloween decor rug and wall bats are not showing up for me when I place them. I’ve tried switching it back to the originals which show, then back to the Halloween and they just are not there. The pumpkin is the only thing working. I agree with the other users that the weeds behind the border are annoying, the wait time for the raven is very long and causes a large build up of honeys. Maybe in addition to varying raven times for different honeys you can add the option to purchase additional delivery slots? I also agree that you run out of things to do very quickly. I understand it is a new game though, so I am hoping these are all a work in progress! The aesthetics are nice and the music is gorgeous, hopefully this grows into more! ### 4/5 — Just a few bugs *2023-09-11* I really do enjoy this game, I’m working on getting all of the furniture sets, but there are quite a few bugs and setup issues I’ve come across. First, there is no tutorial at the beginning of the game. So the weeds, slugs, and mystery wheel remained a mystery for a while for me. As well as the hit-boxes for the envelope the crow brings and the honey after you’ve just made it. It takes a while for me to find the spot on the screen that makes it disappear. On the spin-wheel, after you’ve used your two spins, no matter where you press, the message always pops up saying you’re out of spins. Even if you’re trying to click out of it. Secondly, a few bugs. It seems like my honey randomly disappears. I will buy 9 seeds but only have 7 honey after I’ve harvested, or when I open the game later. My seeds will also randomly stop growing while the game is offline, and only start the timer once I log on. Background app refresh is not an option in my settings. However, the concept is great, and I understand this is a fairly new game. This is kind of just feedback for the devs as well as a small review. ### 5/5 — Weed Curse? *2023-09-05, version 1.03* How long is the wheel weed curse supposed to last? Is it a one time burst immediately after, or will I be plagued with so many weeds forever? ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Hearth and Honey *2023-11-24, version 1.03* I found myself getting quickly bored with the game. Everything just takes too long with little reward. The seeds take ages to grow and you can’t just leave them, as they require watering halfway through the growth time. Some seeds become stunted until you remove the annoying slug creature, so you have to constantly be checking them. The raven takes half an hour per jar of honey you ask it to take and you get a minimal amount of coins in return. The spin wheel provides rewards that are not worth much and don’t help you proceed in any meaningful way. There are only five seeds available at the time of this review, so getting different combinations of honey is fairly easy and they’re not worth much when you sell them. There’s not a whole lot else to do, so you just open the app, water, remove slugs, exit and just hope the next time you open the app your seeds have actually finished growing. It’s not very engaging at all! ### 1/5 — An honest review *2023-06-28, version 1.03* Not a lot to actually do in this game. You have to wait 4 minutes minimum for seeds to grow and then they go off with a raven and I didn’t even get my coins! You can use this spin wheel twice a day but you win literally a bag of seeds, and that is it. ### 2/5 — Cute but frustrating *2023-12-24* This is a cute game but I’ve quickly run out of things to do. I can’t tell if there’s a method to which honeys yield items or if it’s random, so I don’t know which seeds I should buy and it doesn’t seem worth waiting hours for them to grow if they don’t produce the nectar that I need to mix. Since there are no other activities to keep you interested while you wait, it’s all a big question mark. ### 2/5 — Gets Boring and Buggy *2023-10-13* The tutorial doesn’t explain very much, and some aspects of the game seem pointless. Why do the weeds even appear? The slugs take forever to disappear. I bought decor and received decor as gifts from the crow and there isn’t a way to even place the decor in the house. There isn’t very much to do in the game itself and it is honestly just boring. ### 2/5 — Cute cozy game! *2023-08-12, version 1.03* This game has beautiful art and a calming tone! I loved playing whenever I was feeling stressed. I collected all of the furniture items for each honey type and it is so cute. Once you’re done, you’re done, but it’s a very soothing game for those with anxiety. New locations and gameplay features. More flowers and decorations it the store. Daily rewards. ### 5/5 — Enjoying it! *2023-12-20, version 1.03* I quite like this game, it’s calming and easy to do, no overly complex quests and 15367 things to do. Just plant your seeds, make honey, deliver it, and decorate your house. No ads, and there are items available for purchase but it isn’t required at all to advance in the game. I’ve only had the game a few days and just from the correct combinations of honey and watching optional ads, I’ve already upgraded my flower pots, beds, and expanded the garden, about 12,500 or so worth of coins. Didn’t pay for any of it with real money, just in game coins. I appreciate the option to earn coins by watching ads, I’m happy to watch ads for coins, I just don’t like all the endless pop up ads. There are a few things that could be improved- the background, while pretty is also somewhat hazy or perhaps blurry? I personally can’t look directly at the background too long because it hurts my eyes. The rest is fine but it’d be nice if the background, such as the shrubs in front and the birch trees, were more in focus. I’m also seeing a problem where the weeds pop up behind things and are then inaccessible. They’re popping up behind the shrubs at the bottom of the screen so they can’t be seen, behind the plants you’re growing and you can’t tap them because you’re just tapping the plant. Also, there’s a bit of a disparity between where you should be clicking for an action and where you actually have to click. If you click the “plant here” sign, nothing happens. You have to click all the way down on the pot. Lastly, what is the point of the clipboard in the corner? I still have yet to identify any reason for it. ### 5/5 — Easy and relaxing game! *2023-10-31, version 1.03* I’m glad I found this game, such a relaxing game with chilling music. There’s not much to do, so you will slowly enjoy the process. The graphics are great for me, it’s not wow but still cute in a way. I have noticed a few glitches here and there, but the biggest one bothering me is the decor glitch. I bought the Halloween wall decoration and the Halloween rug but neither of them show up in my house when equipped. The concept is lovely, and it’s fun to play. The game play leaves you with something to do at all times. I could go on and on… I hope it expands in the future! Couple tidbits tho - when it goes to the “night time” mode and gets dark, it gets REAL dark. Full brightness on my phone, and it’s still hard to see. Also idk how to explain this but the clicking of things in a bit tricky. You have to have really good aim, and if anything is behind something else, you have to deal with that first.
