*All loan information is presented without warranty, and estimated APR and other terms are not binding. Hearth’s lending partners generally present a range of APRs (for instance, from 5% to 35.99%) with a range of terms and monthly payments. As an example, a $10,000 loan with an APR of 14.50% and a term of 36 months would have a monthly payment of $344.21. Actual APRs will depend on factors like credit score, loan amount, loan term, and credit history. Only borrowers with excellent credit will qualify for the lowest APRs. All loans are subject to credit review and approval.

### 2/5 — My experience

*2026-08-16*

I signed up for Hearth because the concept sounded great, and I was excited to be able to offer financing options to my customers.

Unfortunately, my experience has been very different from what was explained to me by the sales team. I was told that customers with credit scores over 680 would have access to 0% APR financing programs. Based on that information, I felt confident presenting Hearth as a financing option to my clients.

However, when I actually tried to use it with a client who has a 700+ credit score, they didn’t even qualify for the full loan amount needed for their project.

My biggest issue is that the expectations set during the sales process did not match the actual experience. If the 0% APR programs and loan amounts are dependent on additional factors beyond credit score, that should have been clearly communicated upfront.

I signed up expecting to provide my customers with a strong financing option, and unfortunately, I don’t feel the sales team accurately represented what would actually be available to them.

### 1/5 — Beware

*2026-06-19, version 2.3.0*

This company is a scam if you don't cancel it within the year they will auto renew and this is a very costly service and they won't refund you so I highly don't recommend this company

### 1/5 — Misleading and unethical

*2026-04-21, version 2.2.0*

Avoid at all costs! They will auto renew for over $2300 without your permission! Almost 100 complaints on BBB about their unethical practices.

### 1/5 — Very bad

*2026-04-09, version 2.2.0*

App needs a lot to be improved it freezes very often

### 5/5 — Unsatisfied to Satisfied

*2026-03-04, version 2.2.0*

I had a friend use Hearth and was ecstatic about how easy it was and the fact that they had a dedicated agent. So much so, that I referred Hearth to a friend without even being a customer.

I was excited to get started offering financing, being that we are in a higher ticket industry. Now, it was just a backup because we work with insurance on restoration projects. Key word, “backup”.

I signed up for the white glove service and had a great conversation with Taylor when signing up. Awesome guy and explained some newer things they were launching with AI call centers which I was SUPER pumped about. We did a demo and I was shocked at how good it was, which gave me a lot of confidence that Hearth is a forward thinking company.

Then I got to onboarding where things went sideways. To make a long story short, it’s not what I expected. I won’t make any outlandish claims, but it felt as if they REALLY wanted me to send out loan applications as fast as possible. I explained that this is just a backup, but she kept reemphasizing the importance sending out applications. I did not get an answer that I felt comfortable with, so I asked to cancel. She immediately conceived and sent a message to their billing department, didn’t even care to help at that point. I already bought the product, it’s not like she had to sell anything.

Then the billing team called and explained I didn’t qualify for a refund. I literally have had this for 1 month and haven’t used any of their resources. I was upset and pleaded that this was not fair and I wanted to speak to someone higher up. She denied me and said there’s no one above her. I became more frustrated to which she replied, “I am a woman and don’t appreciate you speaking that way.” I’ll admit, like I did above, I was upset. But by no means did her being by a woman have anything to do with that. The implied sexism turned me from upset, to furious. I have a wife and daughter that I provide for and for someone to say imply that I am acting a certain way based on gender is unfathomable.

From my experience, I can say that the product is pretty easy to use. But the service of this company is what potential clients need to look at. 3.5 stars says something about a company, be aware.

***update, Amanda Hester was gracious enough to give me a refund and heard my frustration. Love that. Thank you very much. Amanda is the rockstar at Hearth

### 1/5 — Convert to contract bug

*2026-02-16*

I have created a ticket and tried to email and call customer service regarding this terrible bug that has been happening for the last month when you create a quote and you press convert to contract a black screen appears and app crashes. which has been confirmed by customer service also by customer service. This has still not been fixed as of feb 16. This is costing me time and money, especially when we pay $2000 plus for the software; it needs to be in tiptop shape at all times. The whole reason I got this software was because of the easy one click conversion from quote to contract, not me creating a separate contract on top of my quote. since you updated the app we cannot create contracts on mobile we have to do it on laptop or PC you need to fix this immediately

### 1/5 — Deceptive Renewal Practices & No Accountability

*2026-02-05*

I would never work with this company again.

Hearth relies on automatic renewal language buried in their contract and refuses to offer refunds, even when the service was never used once. There is no courtesy phone call, no meaningful customer support, and no willingness to resolve issues professionally.

In July 2025, I proactively called Hearth to ensure my account would not renew. I spoke with a professional and was told someone would follow up. No follow-up ever happened. No email. No case opened. No confirmation of any kind.

Fast forward to February 2nd, and I was charged for another full year of service. Hearth claims they sent a renewal email in December — I never received it. If I had, I would have immediately responded to cancel. Instead, they defaulted to auto-renew and are now refusing to reverse the charge.

To make matters worse, we never used this service even once during the year we paid for it. Most of our clients didn’t qualify for financing, making the service unusable for our business. At this point, we’ve paid over $5,000 for something that delivered zero value.

As a business owner myself, I would never treat a client this way. Hearth won’t even get on the phone to discuss the issue — everything is handled through rigid email responses and contract language. That alone should be a red flag.

We have an active dispute open with American Express and will be fighting this charge. This situation is less about the money and more about principle. Companies should not operate this way.

If you search 1-star reviews on Trustpilot, you’ll find many other customers with nearly identical experiences. That tells you this is a pattern, not an isolated incident.

Please reconsider working with this company. I will continue sharing this experience to prevent others from being taken advantage of.

### 1/5 — Contractors read

*2026-01-25*

Unless you are seriously losing a lot of money because you can’t find other financing, I would not go through Hearth. We signed up for the year and maybe had three or four customers actually get approved (out of many who were loan eligible) There is 100 problems. I could give you, but a couple that really bothered me Was how hard it was to use their App- adding customers to their portal, and then sending estimates and invoices easily. Not only is it Not smooth at all, but Anytime you close out The app on whatever device your using It will delete everything even still being open in the background.

On top of this we obviously did not continue our subscription for the next year, and they refused to help us extract our customer information.

### 2/5 — Bad app

*2025-12-13, version 2.1.0*

The app isn’t smooth by any means. Hard to get money paid to you hard to make invoices the ONLY thing they make easy is getting financing. Deleting and going back to jobber… wasted a lot of money and time on this :(

### 1/5 — Unauthorized Charge & Not a Trustworthy Company

*2025-11-20*

I’ve made a few mistakes in my journey as an entrepreneur, but signing up for this service was easily one of the worst. They renewed my subscription without my authorization, even after I had clearly told them I did not want to continue. I was in a difficult moment at the time, explained everything, and they still went ahead and charged me — and then refused to fix it.

There are much cheaper software options out there that treat you with respect, offer real support, and actually help when you need it. Meanwhile, Hearth did nothing to help, ignored what I told them, and left me stuck with a charge I never approved.

Their billing practices are predatory, their support is useless, and the company is not trustworthy at all.
One of the worst experiences I’ve had with a service.
Avoid it.
