## What is Hearth?

Hearth is the shared brain for your home. One list instead of two memories: groceries, chores, meals, dates, notes and pets, kept in one place and on both your phones.

WHAT'S IN IT
• Groceries: add in a sentence, tick off in the aisle, and see what's already at home
• Chores: who does what, how often, and a gentle nudge when it's due
• Meals: plan the week, keep recipes, send the ingredients to the list
• Dates and renewals: birthdays, the car insurance, the boiler service
• Pets: the vet, the flea drops, the birthday
• A morning digest: one notification with what's due today, and nothing on quiet days

BUILT FOR TWO
Start a household and invite the other phone with a link or a QR code. Everything either of you adds is already on the other's phone. Tap Continue with Apple on a new iPhone and the house is there.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Sign in with Apple — that's the only account, and there's no password to invent. No ads, no tracking. Your household's content is end-to-end encrypted with a key that never leaves your phones. Not even we can read your lists.

FREE, WITH ONE PAID EXTRA
Every list, screen and phone is free, and stays free. Reading a recipe from a photo or a link, stocking the pantry from a photo of your shopping, or adding by voice uses AI that costs us each time, so it's five a month free, or unlimited with the Household plan: £24.99 a year or £2.99 a month, one subscription for the whole house, shareable with Family Sharing. Prices shown in the app in your local currency.

## Version history (last 4 releases)

### 1.3 — 2026-10-06

Three new rooms, and a lighter way round the house.

• Last time — the things with no due date: the dentist, the boiler service, ringing your aunt. Tap "Did it today" and Hearth remembers when, and mentions it once it's been a while.
• Renewals, grown up — insurance, broadband, passports and the rest in one place. Photograph the letter or paste the email and Hearth reads the date and the price. When it comes round, note what happened and watch the price year by year.
• The House Book — the paint in the hallway, the bathroom bulb, the boiler's model, where the stopcock is. Photograph the label, paste some text or type it in. The shut-offs sit at the top, for emergencies.
• Home is now a list of rooms, each with a line on how it's doing. Every screen adds from the same + in the corner, and forms keep Cancel and Add at the top, above the keyboard.
• No pets? Hide Pets, or any other room you don't use, from You → Settings.

### 1.2 — 2026-09-25

• Friend passes: a link that makes a friend’s house free, for good. Send it from the You tab; they tap it, get the app if they don’t have it, sign in, and their house is on the plan.
• Hearth now lives on the iPhone only. A link opened in a browser points you to the App Store and keeps working once the app is installed.
• Small fixes throughout.

### 1.1 — 2026-09-24

• The morning digest now says what's actually due — the milk, the bins, the vet — instead of a generic line. It's worded on your phone, so nothing about your house passes through anyone else.
• A new phone signed in with the same Apple ID walks straight into your house. No key to type. If the house doesn't know the phone yet, the phones already home see a knock and let it in with one tap.
• Small fixes throughout.
