Gameplay takes center stage in this update. The opening board is fuller and more mergeable, Dig rewards now arrive in matching pairs, producer sites have stronger distinct mechanics, energy refills faster, and requests provide clearer short- and medium-term goals. Story beats and clues now collect quietly in the journal so play stays uninterrupted, while consequential choices remain available when you want them. Restoration transformations are more dramatic, scrolling and merge processing are faster, and numerous layout, accessibility, save-migration, and reliability issues have been fixed.

### 1.2 — 2026-08-15

Merges now resolve much faster, with streamlined discovery cards, lighter visual effects, optimized screen updates, and more efficient saving. Ordinary merges feel immediate while important discoveries still receive a satisfying celebration.

Riverglass feels more alive than ever. This update adds dramatic restoration transformations, distinct producer mechanics, consequential story choices, unexpected chapter events, earlier board complications, smoother scrolling, and clearer merge cues throughout the opening chapters.
