## What is HearthBoard?

Your family, finally in sync.

HearthBoard is one shared calendar for everyone in the house — with a locked kiosk for the kids, points for chores, and a daily report for you. It runs on the devices you already own.

PLEASE NOTE: HearthBoard requires a one-time in-app purchase to use. Every feature below is unlocked by that single purchase — for your whole family, forever. No subscription, no ads, and we never sell your data.

— A CALENDAR YOU ALREADY KNOW —

For parents, HearthBoard works just like the calendar built into your phone — the same day, week, and month views, the same quick event editing. Any event can be made completable, given a point value, and included in the daily report. Color-coded categories, repeats, and reminders keep everyone's schedule straight.

— KID KIOSK —

That spare tablet in the drawer? Mount it by the kitchen door and lock it into kiosk mode. Kids can check things off — and nothing else. Exiting requires the parent password, and the board returns to the home view on its own. No child accounts, no sign-ins.

— POINTS & REWARDS —

Chores earn points. Kids track their balance and spend it on rewards you set. Motivation, built in.

— THE DAILY REPORT —

Know how the day went: a per-kid rollup of what's done, what's remaining, and points earned — over the 24-hour window you choose.

— FEATURES (ALL INCLUDED WITH THE ONE-TIME PURCHASE) —

• Shared family calendar — day, week, month, and year views
• Color-coded categories, recurring events, and reminders
• Completable events with point values, for chores and routines
• Kid Kiosk — lock any tablet into a check-it-off family board
• Parent password to exit kiosk, with auto-return to home
• Points & rewards — earn, save, and spend on rewards you set
• Daily report — per-child done, remaining, and points, on your schedule
• Unlimited family members
• Works on iPhone, iPad, and the web
• Sign in with email, Google, or Apple

— DON'T BUY ANOTHER SCREEN —

Family display products want to sell you a screen that costs hundreds of dollars, plus a subscription — and the cheap ones pay for themselves with ads. HearthBoard is an app: your devices, one payment. You're the customer, not the product — no ads, and we never sell your data. One payment covers your whole family, forever. Not for you? Get a full refund within 14 days, no questions asked.

— PRIVACY —

No ads. No third-party tracking. Your family's data is yours — ask us to delete your account and data any time.

### 5/5 — Just What I Needed!

*2026-07-16*

I’ve been looking at some of the other family calendars out there for a while, but all of them were so expensive (hardware and subscriptions)! I’m so excited that this app lets me do all of this on an old device I already have laying around AND only requires a one-time payment!!! My busy homeschool family has been using it for a few weeks. My kids LOVE the points, and I love that I can download all my to-do lists to one spot. My husband goes over the reports with our kids each night to make sure everything got done for the day! I feel like everyone is invested in all the chores and appointments for the day (instead of me just juggling everything and pushing everyone forward). Highly recommend!

### 5/5 — Independent Children!

*2026-07-16*

HearthBoard saves me so much time and energy. My children love it because they know what to do everyday and feel successful when they check off their lists.
I love that I don’t have to pay a subscription each month and can use the devices we already own!

### 5/5 — Amazing

This app is a game-changer for my family. The kids are obsessed with getting things done now! The points system really does work…

### 1.1.0 — 2026-07-29

HearthBoard 1.1.0 adds offline support plus a batch of new tools and fixes:

• Works offline — create and edit events and mark chores done, and it all syncs automatically when you're back online
• Daily reports now track each kid's chore-completion streak
• New Board kiosk layout that shows each kid's points and streak at a glance
• Duplicate an event in a single tap
• Pinch-to-zoom the day and schedule time grids
• Redesigned event editor with a cleaner, Apple-style date & time picker
• Kid Kiosk: parents can now edit the full calendar right from the kiosk, and you can show/hide the PIN and password fields as you type
• Get an in-app heads-up when an app update is available
• A fresh new look with our pink HearthBoard mark
• Day view now opens on the current time instead of early morning
• Parents can dock a points balance into the negative when needed
