It’s ridiculous. ### 2/5 — Disappointed *2026-09-10, version 1.8.3* Paid for premium now my library is gone (for the second time) and it is prompting me to use coins to open chapters. My subscription doesn’t expire for another month. I will not renew. ### 4/5 — Good so far *2026-07-01, version 1.8.2* Seems good so far wish there was more ways to earn hearts to read more as the chapters do seem costly ### 3/5 — Fun stories *2026-06-30, version 1.8.2* This app lets you earn hearts to “buy” chapters and is much more generous than some other apps out there but to buy the coins to read one book is still crazy expensive. Enjoying the books I’ve started so far though. ### 4/5 — Fun Reads but expensive *2026-04-16, version 1.8.2* Title says all ### 4/5 — Great books *2026-03-12, version 1.8.2* Love the books but wish it didn’t cost so much to read through the chapters. ### 3/5 — Interesting *2026-01-17, version 1.8.0* Just started this app. Not much in choices to earn hearts like coins. Sorry but I never buy. So will see if the story is worth the wait. ### 4/5 — Cheaper than most *2025-10-05, version 1.7.1* Cheaper than most reading apps and gives you the chance to earn coins by just checking in, still an expensive way to read books if you don’t want to wait to accumulate coins though ### 2/5 — Needs to be user friendly. *2025-07-25, version 1.7.1* I enjoy listening to audiobooks; however, this app does not allow me to multitask. There are other audiobook apps that allow you to have the soundtrack running in the background while you do other things like read email. I also wish the chapters were less costly. The narration is not great either. ### 4/5 — Love the format! *2025-07-06, version 1.7.1* So easy to read novels at my convenience. ### 3/5 — No real opinion yet. *2025-06-18, version 1.7.1* Just started using the app don’t have a real opinion yet. ### 2/5 — All *2025-06-05, version 1.7.1* Takes too long to get next chapter or too expensive to buy ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Paid for premium and access taken away *2026-09-26, version 1.8.3* Paid for 12 mths premium and after 6 months it was dropped off account, and impossible to get any support. ### 1/5 — It’s a scam *2026-09-01, version 1.8.3* I paid for the premium subscription for a whole year. I have had it for a month and then all of a sudden I can’t access my subscription and my library was gone. The app says I have to pay coins to read chapters now which is not how it’s supposed to work. I sent an email to their support team, but I have never heard back from them. There is no customer service and no communication. Save your money…just another scam. ### 1/5 — Yearly subscription removed *2026-08-29, version 1.8.3* After 4 months into my subscription the app removed my access and is trying to make me pay to unlock chapters. Mind you the yearly subscription is $89… Apple says my subscription doesn’t expire till April 2027. Re installed the app and nothing is resolved. ### 1/5 — Scam- DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP *2026-01-06, version 1.8.0* I downloaded this app to read and when I attempted to purchase the “heart” currency they use it failed even though I had sufficient funds. Come to find out I was charged FOUR times and never received any of what I was trying to purchase. The app didn’t send a single receipt. Not one email confirmation about the purchases actually going through and now I am struggling to get a refund. All these stories can also be found FOR FREE online. ### 1/5 — Scam does not fulfill subscription *2025-12-11, version 1.8.0* I purchased a subscription and although I have screenshots proving the purchase and a screenshot that says I have a subscription, not one chapter will unlock. I have emailed several times and I have gone to their Facebook and they delete my post when I very politely request them to fix my account. I am now working with PayPal to get a refund. It’s really too bad because it looks like they have great stories but if you purchase a one year subscription, you should get at least a chapter to open up. ### 1/5 — The War God Alpha’s Arranged Bride *2025-11-10, version 1.8.0* Charged my account but didn’t deliver my coins ### 1/5 — DO NOT PURCHASE IN APP *2025-11-07, version 1.8.0* The first purchase I made was fine, I got my coins and was not having any issues. Once my coins ran out I tried to purchase more and got an error message in the app. The transaction went through based on my Apple transaction log but I never got the coins. Then I tried to get the subscription and same thing happened, the app says the transaction failed but my Apple account shows an active subscription and I got a confirmation email for the transaction. I have reached out to Heartify support but based on previous reviews it appears they are not responsive so I guess my next step is disputing it with Apple. There is clearly an issue with the app that is not getting fixed so beware trying to purchase anything. ### 1/5 — Scam *2025-11-01, version 1.8.0* Tried purchasing coins and they took the payment but I never received any coins. I’m having to dispute the purchase through PayPal now because I can’t get a response through email from this bunch!!!!! ### 1/5 — So expensive *2025-07-22, version 1.7.1* I can’t believe how much you end up paying for one book when you don’t want a subscription. I wanted to read one book and am not even half way through and already almost done with the 39.99 package, it’s crazy! Also, the audio is spotty in some parts ### 1/5 — Book Updates *2025-05-26, version 1.7.1* I’m not sure why but the author says updates are being uploaded to the book but they are not showing in the app. My book has been stuck on the last published chapter from three weeks ago dispute the fact that their FB update says the app is being updated. Highly disappointed after paying to read the book. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Not worth it *2026-07-13, version 1.8.2* Expensive ### 5/5 — Love it *2026-06-27, version 1.8.2* Wish it was more affordable ### 5/5 — Great book *2026-06-24, version 1.8.2* Not a fan of the constant price change per chapter but the book is too good ### 5/5 — Stars *2026-05-20, version 1.8.2* I just wish I could earn more free stars ### 5/5 — Heartless Alphas Beloved Luna *2026-05-04, version 1.8.2* I have had no issues, navigating the app etc. The story is dragging, and I resent paying for in-app purchases. So more opportunity to earn more coins/hearts would be awesome. ### 5/5 — Great app *2026-04-30, version 1.8.2* Has a good variety of books! ### 5/5 — Easy app *2026-04-20, version 1.8.2* It’s very easy to use. Lots of variety. ### 5/5 — Claimed by the fallen king *2026-01-04, version 1.8.0* Very nice ### 5/5 — Great app *2025-04-22, version 1.7.1* Reasonable and fully stocked with good reads. Worth the time !! ### 5/5 — One of the better apps *2025-01-02, version 1.7.1* Good variety of books. I’ve not stumbled over the same story but with different character names that I’ve come across in other apps. Still slightly expensive to buy chapters but appears cheaper than other apps --- *Data collected daily from the US App Store and indexed by [AppsHunter](https://appshunter.io/).
