二、关于分析方法
应用中的每一项指标均基于公开发表的临床方法。QTc 采用 Bazett、Fridericia、Framingham 三种公式并行计算；心率变异性指标（SDNN、rMSSD、pNN50）遵循 ESC/NASPE 工作组 1996 年发布的测量标准。上述文献均可公开查阅。

三、关于"70 万"这一数据
该数据的统计单位为心电图份数，而非用户数量。HeartLab 会将您 Apple Watch 中的历史心电图完整导入并逐份分析，单一用户的记录量通常在数百至数千份之间，我们创始人本人的设备上即存有 7000 余份。按份数累计，该量级并不需要 70 万名用户。

另需说明：全部分析均在您的设备本地完成，我司服务器不接收、也无法读取您的心电图数据。

### 3/5 — Tolle Erfindung, aber noch weiter für Laien ausbaufähig. Da ist noch Potential nach oben.

Zu Beginn hat die KI Chat Funktion so gar nicht funktioniert. Mittlerweile funktioniert es wenigstens ein bisschen. Die einzelnen EKGs als pdf als Anhang per Mail senden ist eine gute Erfindung, nur kann ich einer kardiologischen Praxis ja nicht 50 einzelne Emails senden. Da wäre eine Verbesserung für die Zukunft echt eine gute Idee. An sich aber eine gute Erfindung, Übungen für Menschen, die einfach mal einen Überblick bekommen wollen über EKG Werte und Übungen zur Stress Reduktion ausprobieren wollen. Ich kenne die Blubbern leider schon, daher ist es jetzt nichts super aufregend Neues, was mir nachhaltig geholfen hat. Ein Update mit mehr Innovation, neuen und abwechslungsreicheren Übungen wäre ratsam. Auch mehr Legenden zu den abkürzen. Man kann zwar Teilnahme Abkürzungen anklicken und einen Satz zur Erklärung lesen, aber als Laie ist es nicht leicht zu wissen, welche EKGs man dann zum kardiologischen Facharzttermin mitnehmen. Sol, denn diese erwartet bei mir, dass sie im Vorfeld schon EKGs  per E-Mail pdf erhält. Man kann EKGs spenden für die Forschung. Zu welcher Forschung und wo genau geben die Daten dann hin? Welche Uni? Welches Projekt? Darüber will ich gerne mehr erfahren.

Aktuell arbeiten wir an einem sehr wichtigen Update, das in Kürze erscheinen wird. Unser Ziel ist es, jeden Aspekt der App weiter zu verbessern, um eine noch klarere, verständlichere und wirklich hilfreiche Erfahrung für alle Nutzer zu schaffen.

In den kommenden Updates werden auch viele neue und abwechslungsreichere Übungen eingeführt, die zusätzlich personalisiert auf den jeweiligen Nutzer abgestimmt sind. Außerdem werden wir die Erklärungen zu den Abkürzungen erweitern und klarer gestalten, damit auch medizinische Laien besser verstehen können, welche EKGs für einen Termin beim Kardiologen relevant sind. Wir arbeiten zudem daran, gezielter Hinweise zu geben, welche Aufzeichnungen aus Vorsorge- oder Sicherheitsgründen überprüft werden sollten.

Zum Thema Datenspende: Der gesamte Prozess ist vollständig anonymisiert, automatisiert und verschlüsselt. Die gespendeten EKGs enthalten ausschließlich Rohdaten sowie optional angegebene Symptome – keinerlei persönliche Informationen oder Zuordnung zu einer Identität. Die Daten werden auf sicheren, isolierten Servern gespeichert. Nutzer können ihre gesendeten Daten jederzeit löschen; in diesem Fall werden diese auch vollständig von unseren Servern entfernt.

Jedes EKG wird anschließend anonym an drei unabhängige Kardiologen weitergeleitet. Stimmen mindestens zwei Diagnosen überein, gelangt das EKG in eine weitere Validierungsstufe durch einen vierten Kardiologen. Wird die Diagnose nicht bestätigt, geht der Datensatz mit allen Anmerkungen zurück in die erste Phase. Bestätigte EKGs werden anschließend von unseren Signalverarbeitungs-Ingenieuren geprüft und für die Weiterentwicklung unserer Algorithmen verwendet.

Derzeit umfasst unsere Datenbank über 60.000 EKGs von rund 2.000 Personen. Davon wurden bereits etwa 10.000 EKGs von ca. 400 Personen vollständig analysiert, validiert und in unser System integriert. Unser Ziel ist es, die Genauigkeit unserer Algorithmen kontinuierlich zu verbessern, um die Prävention zu stärken und im besten Fall Leben zu retten.

Wir arbeiten hierbei unter anderem mit folgenden Institutionen zusammen: Careggi Universitätsklinik (Italien), San Raffaele (Italien), Universität Tirana und Universität Zürich. Alle Partner erhalten ausschließlich anonymisierte Rohdaten und dürfen diese weder für andere Zwecke verwenden noch weitergeben.

**Developer response:** Thank you for the feedback — and you're right about one thing: nothing replaces a real doctor. HeartLab is built on that principle.

One small clarification: your ECG measurements (rhythm, heart rate, intervals) don't come from AI, they're computed by validated signal-processing algorithms. The AI feature is an optional assistant that simply explains those results in plain language, and it's designed for education, never diagnosis.

I have a heart condition and This ECG app missed poss long QT Triplets  PVC PAC Cuplets PVC/ PAC.  Bigamey 7 PVC in one ECG so will not be Renewing as not very good at all.

What you describe is unusual for HeartLab. Our detection pipeline is tuned to be more sensitive than specific, which means that in practice it tends to over-flag ectopic activity (couplets, bigeminy, PVCs, PACs) rather than miss it. Users with a known arrhythmia profile usually tell us the opposite of what you experienced. So either the recording had signal quality issues that limited the analysis, or there's a specific case we'd really like to look at.

If you're open to it, please send the ECG export to hello@heartlab.it. We'll review it personally with our team, and if the app genuinely missed what you describe we'll treat it as a priority case. A real recording from someone who already knows what's there is far more useful to us than any synthetic test, and it's exactly how we keep improving the PVC and PAC pipeline.

Saying as a retired paramedic: this is not supposed be approved at all, causing harm to patients with terribly wrong readings. Funny enough the seller’s comment about ecg machines, which I had used many, confirms my suspicion that this likely, is made by a rookie, amateur at most, and the real harm is to those who cannot tell, which is the only reason i bother to leave this review

Just a couple of points worth clarifying.

HeartLab is a wellness and screening app, not a diagnostic medical device. We say this clearly inside the app and on our website. The goal is to help people notice patterns and bring useful information to their doctor, not to replace a clinical evaluation.

The algorithms are developed by our biomedical engineers and validated together with cardiologists here in Italy and researchers from a few universities we collaborate with. Every study and reference we rely on is public, both on our website and inside our Discord community. Anyone can read the methodology and check the sources.

If you have a specific ECG that gave you a reading you believe was wrong, please send it to hello@heartlab.it. We read every email and we use real cases to keep improving the app. A paramedic's perspective on a concrete trace would actually be very useful to us.

To be transparent with anyone reading this: in the past weeks we've been receiving a coordinated wave of 1-star reviews coming from beta testers of a competing app, clearly aimed at damaging our reputation rather than discussing the product. This is a poor copy of ECG+. I’ll use the original app instead.

HeartLab is not a copy of any other app. Our development timeline, design files and code commits are fully documented and predate several of the features we're now being compared to. We're a small independent team, building this product since long before the comparison you mention even existed in its current form.

For full transparency: in recent weeks we've been receiving a coordinated wave of 1-star reviews on different App Store regions, all dismissive, generic, and pointing users toward the same competing app. We sincerely hope your review is genuine, and if it is we apologize for even mentioning this. The developer asked me to be constructive so here is one: RESPECT other apps work, you can get inspired but straight up copyying discredits whatever you are offering… evidence? Look at the 2nd screenshot showing an ecg strip, the navigator with letter R for easy locating beats is nearly identical to ecg+, yeah of course you can change color from red to purple but the way it works is IDENTICAL.

In case Apple is checking, compare element by element on the screenshot, even the grayed out text of Apple Watch device info is in the same position.

I don’t work for anyone but decent enough to call out dishonesty and unfairness

**Developer response:** Edit: the "navigator with R letter" is the standard convention for R-peak annotation used in clinical ECG analysis since the 1960s and across medical-grade devices. The position of Apple Watch device metadata is determined by standard iOS layout patterns. These are not proprietary design choices.

This is completely inaccurate and a scam to make money. I took this with me to the cardiologist and ran an analysis at the same time and it was 100% wrong in every area of analysis.

ECG Analysis v25
- Completely rewritten beat selection algorithm — prioritizes beats with clear P-wave and T-wave for more accurate measurements
- QT measurement accuracy improved: 76% of measurements now within 30ms of manual annotation (was 58%)
- False Long QTc alerts reduced from 19 to just 1 — 4-layer protection system prevents tangent overshoot
- QTc now always displayed when the beat signature calculates it successfully
- Improved P-wave, T-wave onset, and J-point detection

Redesigned Interface
- New card design throughout the app
- Beat Signature view with better zoom balance — P and T waves now clearly visible
- Tangent line visualization matches the analysis algorithm exactly
- Signal Quality banner removed from detail view (info already in rhythm card)
