Every single person we’ve worked with over the years has been top-notch. Today, I am pleased to honor, Gretchen and Lauren, who our family have come to love. We see them in the community and they recognize us and greet us by name. I have had five family members with accounts in Newton. We have the highest level of trust and admiration for them all. I don’t have to enter my password every time I login (I can use Face ID), being able to see what’s in my account without actually fully logging in is very convenient too and depositing checks is so much easier whereas with the old version I had so much trouble trying to deposit checks. Highly recommend to any HCU members! It says we have available money and then it turns out we are actually in the negatives. This has been happening for almost a month. ### 1/5 — Make a payment *2023-12-05* I have the Heartland Credit Union App. on my phone.. I have a loan from HCU for my truck payment there… can I make a loan payment by using the App? NO! You have to have a checking account with them to make a payment, unless you want to pay a service charge of $7.00! No Thank you! This is 2023! I bank at a different bank… it would be simple to give you my account number and routing number! You need to update your policies! Why make it so hard to make a stinking payment??! I can see the dashboard just fine but when I try to navigate into the accounts, the app freezes and never loads. Whenever I attempt at logging in it says "try again" when I am 100% positive I typed everything correctly! When it DOES finally sign me in, I try to navigate and it says "An error has occurred - start over", but then it doesn't log me back in! It's not consistent at all! Every time I open it, I KNOW it won't work! This never happened with the Hutchinson Credit Union app! I will be switching banks soon because I got a job at a different bank. It's not required that I use them, but because of this app, I will no longer be using Heartland. I have tried talking to the people at my branch and they say "Well, we haven't heard any other complaints about it..." REALLY?! I can't control my banking because this app is AWFUL! I am very disappointed and it honestly ruined the bank for me. There is no option to remember username. Please add the option to automatically remember username.
