### 2/5 — Poor sensor accuracy

*2026-08-11, version 4.5*

This is a well designed app and there is genuine science behind coherence. But the results the app records are too inaccurate and random to be of much use. A small pressure change of finger against sensor dramatically changes the coherence score. The ear sensor they sell isn’t much better in fact sometimes it won’t even work at all. Without sufficiently accurate data, this just isn’t useful unfortunately.

### 4/5 — Helpful practice and good app. Not sure about the coherence plus device.

*2026-05-09*

The heartmath app seems helpful and improving my sleep and stress response. Having a device like the coherence plus is nice as using the camera is awkward, but I was disappointed that the coherence plus goes on the ear. It seems like maybe it’s a good idea since it can see through both sides of the earlobe but sometimes it seems it’s not seated right and I adjust it a few times and my coherence score jumps. Wish it could just use my other devices like Apple Watch, Oura ring or something else, especially so I could have it with me anywhere. Not really sure I trust the coherence plus. Sometimes it seems to be good. Other times questionable.

### 2/5 — Using it on iphone

*2026-04-16*

It just doesn’t work. Frustrating. You guys should say that upfront. Suggesting to buy the equipment to do it post buying it is a bad business practice.

### 5/5 — Pilates Lover

*2026-03-20, version 4.2*

I have been using heart math for over 5 years i love how it reset my whole body whole brain

### 2/5 — Pretty Skeptical

*2026-03-20*

I haven’t experienced any technical issues with the app or connectivity that other reviewers have. However I have wondered about the accuracy of the Coherence Plus sensor readings. I’ve tried holding my breath during a session or rapid breathing to see if it impacted the monitor at all and so far it hasn’t represented ANY distinct change while doing these things. This is odd because these things should affect my heart rate and be clearly represented by the monitor. This lack of change in the readings has me really skeptical of whether or not the monitor actually does what it claims. Not sure if this is one big, pricey placebo or if I purchased a faulty monitor. Also, I really wish the company would’ve hired professional narrators for the guided sessions and audio books. Both the male and female narrator (the founders, I think) unfortunately have mildly annoying voices (imo) and awkward cadences that have made me not able to use any spoken content. I hope the company considers changing the narration in the future.

### 5/5 — Amazing Grace

*2026-02-11, version 4.1.1*

Dr Joe Dispenza reminded me of my previous investment with meditation while using this amazing app! I am stoked to tune into my heartbeat and change my life. I highly recommend turning down the volume on some of the meditations as the levels don’t feel quite dialed in. Use of my phone camera has been wonderful however I am ready to invest in the support of this major key, the heart sensor device.

### 5/5 — Life Changing

*2026-01-28, version 4.1.1*

Watching my heart calm as I learn, is life changing. If you are on the fence, get off. This is well worth your time and investment.

### 4/5 — Loved the trial

*2026-01-21*

5 stars for the app, but one star taken away for the price. I loved the trial - one of my favourite guided meditation apps so far - but the yearly subscription is quite high and doesn’t offer monthly or quarterly options. As someone with a chronic illness who can’t work much, it’s a hefty price.

### 5/5 — Romans 4:8

*2026-01-08, version 4.1.1*

Tool for love and light🧡

### 5/5 — Incredibly Helpful!

*2026-01-07, version 4.1.1*

I have been meditating for about 20 years and that has been pretty effective at calming anger, increasing calmness, and making life more pleasant for me and others around me. However, something seemed off in letting that fully register inside my own body to lower my stress levels. The Heartmath app has been incredibly helpful at teaching me to release stress and experience peace more completely.

### 5/5 — Amazing Tool

*2026-01-03*

Absolutely love HeartMath and all they do. This app is so helpful in learning more about self regulation techniques, that are quick and easy to incorporate throughout your day. An amazing investment into yourself.

### 2/5 — Cheap hardware

*2025-12-29, version 4.1.1*

this app has good content but poor technology. Frequently I can’t actually use it. It won’t read my finger. So I sprung for the quite expensive Bluetooth pulse reader (much more expensive than pulse readers you can buy at CVS) and…it just doesn’t work well. Frequently it can’t read steady. It’s a shame they sell cheap hardware. HeartMath should allow users to buy a $30 pulse reader from Amazon or CVS that will work much better and connect it.

Also, signup for the app was poor. Won’t allow LastPass to work. Won’t allow me to paste in a password. Why alienate users at the start?

### 5/5 — Wonderful !

*2025-12-27, version 4.1.1*

What a beautiful program. It’s like a tuning of your awareness to the frequency of love

### 5/5 — The best app ever

*2025-12-27, version 3.0.8*

Heartmath is the best app I’ve used. It gives real time feedback about your heart coherence, with techniques to improve it. If you don’t know what heart coherence is then the app has courses that teach you all about it in easy to understand language. There is also now a fun game that you have to complete the constellations by staying in heart coherence, and my kids love this game too. The app has a 7 day free trial period during which you can access all of the trainings including short courses on how to have better sleep, less stress, improved meditation etc. You do have to put in your credit card details to access the 7 day free trial but even if you cancel it straight away you will still be able to access it all until the end of the 7 days. It’s a little expensive to subscribe for the year after that, but if you buy one of their monitors to use with the app it gives lifetime free access to the app, which pays itself off after a few years. I recommend subscribing for the 7 day trial when you have a week coming up that you have time to access all of the courses, and see for yourself the positive impact it has. There are graphs that track your progress over time. This app has been the best to reduce my stress and improve my sleep. I liked it so much I registered for the practitioner training so that I could help others get the benefits from it too. Thank you Heartmath!

### 5/5 — Easy & Empowering

*2025-12-27*

Wow, I have been doing heart focused breathing for a few years. It has helped stay in a regulated coherent state through many challenging situations. I just bought the inner balance sensor and got started with the app this week. I am more than thrilled with the ease of use and guided practice. It is very empowering to visually see the activity of my heart while practicing. Today’s practice was the lock in heart focused breathing technique. The explanation and teaching before and after the practice and guidance during is very beneficial for a deeper understanding of what is happening with heart focused breathing. It is motivating and encouraging. I am so happy I finally got the sensor and started using the app!!

### 1/5 — Traduction !!!

*2026-06-27*

Manque les traductions, depuis le temps, et surtout en français dans mon cas personnel !

### 1/5 — Paid $250 for a device that doesn’t work

*2026-06-08, version 4.4.1*

I love the idea of HeartMath and decided to get the Inner Ear Coherence Plus. It’s been a couple days and most times I try it, the app loses connection to the sensor. It’s hard to continue to monitor HRV with it always losing connection to the sensor. The material of the device is not high quality. I feel incredibly ripped off by HeartMath. Buyer beware

### 1/5 — Customer service is non-responsive

*2026-05-22, version 4.3.1*

I’ve reached out twice and never received a response

### 1/5 — $300 for a broken app

*2026-02-10, version 4.1.1*

App is stuck on day 4 of the “7 day journey” I’ve completed this step 3 times now and it will not progress to day 5 no matter what I do. You cannot skip a day, or pick which day to complete. I paid almost $300 for the monitor and a lifetime subscription to this app. I expected a product that actually works for that price. This is a rip off

### 1/5 — Login issues

*2026-02-04, version 4.1.1*

This app will not let me sign up or login. More stress than it should cause.

### 1/5 — Keeps crashing - unusable

*2025-12-18*

I guess the product has gone downhill. Although I’ve given this a chance, the product keeps crashing.

### 1/5 — I truly wish it worked

*2025-12-03, version 4.0*

I truly wish this app worked because of all the amazing possibilities but I constantly get an error saying it cannot connect to my sensor. My sensor is on, connected to my ear, and within a foot of my phone. I spend so much time fighting with the app it does the opposite of what it’s supposed to. Then on top of it when I get the error there is an envelope icon to send a message to support, I take the time to type up my issue for the send button to not work. On the rare occasion that my sensor connects I spend so much time checking to see if I am still connected that it ruins my coherence. I now dread trying to use this product.

### 1/5 — Off to a bad start

*2025-11-13, version 3.0.8*

Won’t allow LastPass to work. Won’t allow me to paste in a password. Good job making signup very difficult and alienating potential users. Goodbye.

### 1/5 — Bug

*2025-11-11*

J’aimerais tester et découvrir votre application, mais ne fonctionne pas sur IOS 26.2: bug à la saisie du mail

### 1/5 — A lot of issues

*2025-05-04, version 2.7.2*

Device has a lot of connection issues. Does not show heart coherence accurately

### 5/5 — Relief

*2026-08-27*

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ HeartMath Has Been a Game Changer

I’ve gotten great results using HeartMath.

What I like most is that it turns something that can feel abstract, like stress management, mindfulness, and emotional regulation, into something I can actually see and practice in real time.

Instead of just wondering, “Am I calmer?” I can use the biofeedback to practice breathing, focus, and heart coherence and actually watch how my body responds.

The more I’ve practiced, the easier it has become to recognize when I’m getting stressed and intentionally shift my state.

That’s been the biggest benefit for me. It’s not just relaxation. It’s training emotional regulation like a skill. 🧠❤️

HeartMath has become one of those tools that I actually use instead of something that just sits in an app on my phone.

If you’re interested in mindfulness, performance, stress management, or learning more about your own nervous system, I definitely recommend checking it out.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ from me. ❤️🧘🏾‍♂️

### 5/5 — Massive change

*2026-08-23*

This is a guaranteed life changer for you and everyone around you

### 5/5 — Amazing Device

*2026-08-15, version 4.5*

This device has become the foundational piece of my daily meditation practice. It quantifies the meditation experience, and has so much learning and variety of practices available, you could use it for years and both deepen and refresh your practice for many years. It has changed the way I meditate, how often, and my belief in its efficacy.

### 5/5 — Great app for heart based breathing

*2026-08-10, version 4.5*

This is a great app for calming your nervous system through heart based breathing. The activities and guides walk you through the steps and the constellation game is a fun way for kids to practice the techniques. Well worth the money or get the sensor for a free subscription.

### 5/5 — Biofeedback on our internal worlds …

*2026-08-10*

I love HeartMath and everything it stands for. Let’s help raise the Vibration of our planet by being in heart coherence! I look forward to my practice every morning and every afternoon. ❤️❤️❤️

### 5/5 — Best ever

*2026-08-09, version 4.5*

Can’t say enough good stuff about this program! B st money I ever spent was buying the heart rate.

### 5/5 — Creates a grateful life

*2026-08-08, version 4.5*

They say you pick your handle in life - either the handle of “I live a great life” or the handle of “i hate my life”.

Do you live in the gap or the gain?

Heart math was taught to me by a 8 figure agency, friend, and great human.

When I use it consistently I feel grateful for my life.

### 5/5 — Camera pulse detection issue

*2026-08-07*

While I am really enjoying Heartmath I have issues with the camera detecting my pulse. It's very frustrating why it's so difficult, I do everything as required. So if you can suggest the best way, let me know.

### 5/5 — Has Helped Tremendously

*2026-08-07, version 4.5*

I have tried so many things to try to help my anxiety, including medication, and HeartMath has made the biggest difference. My emotions are more regulated and I feel way more resilient and confident.

### 5/5 — Return to The Heart

*2026-03-27, version 4.2*

I started my HeartMath sessions over a year ago. After a violent fall interrupted my life I lost sight of it to focus on rehab. But this morning I felt a strong intuition to return to it in my constellation of inner work and breath work as I have been pushing so hard on myself to regain my full body constitution and found the peace I so need at this time.
