Too many players are leaving because of them. Terlingua & lock her up. Hard to believe they are allowed to continue playing. ### 1/5 — Limbo *2018-07-10* Worst site I have ever been on. A lot of bickering all the time all stemming from 1 or 2 people who get away with it. Web developer sides with 1 in particular that ruined the site for having great interactions with people. During play the app will close and return me to the IPhone icons screen. Clicking the game icon opens a brand new game. There's only one bad review and they say there's not enough to evaluate L OL ### 1/5 — Rules of the game is not really followed *2015-11-07* The actual rules of the game is not followed by this app. The heart cards are suddenly able to be led when the queen of spades is placed down? Not correct. Also, the one with the highest number card takes the stack. This app doesn't care and makes you take the stack anyway. I had a two of diamonds and some put down a ten of diamonds but I still took the stack because the queen of spades was placed down. Again, not correct. Finally, there were times where you would select you card to place down but it doesn't move even if you tap it several times. Non favored players get horrible cards. Way more than law of averages, more than coincidence. Once you realize the game is rigged there is no interest in playing at this site, totally pointless!! Today I encountered a problem. When a card is laid, it is sometimes not displayed. This has happened on the card I lay, the player to the left, and the player to the right. It has occurred 4 times in a single game. This game is running on IOS11.2.1; I have not encountered the problem on an older iPad running on iOS 9. I am also a bit disgruntled with the way the app rearranges the cards to look pretty part way through a game. Several times I have pressed a location on the keyboard only to find that at the instant I press it, the cards have shuffled and I play a card that is disastrous. The problem with the missing cards has got worse, now occurs several times in one game rather than occasionally. Also following the latest changes, how is a change of 4 a low-scoring hand in some cases, but scores of 1,2, or 4 are high-scoring hands. This is unnecessary nonsense - put it back as it was before. Update Feb2023 - after being OK for several months, the missing card problem has reappeared. This has occurred several times in one game, and has occurred in successive games. It’s bad enough trying to remember which cards have been played, without having to guess. The game is now unplayable. ### 1/5 — APP developer clicky *2021-03-23* The developer of this app is way to clicky and protective of just a few players. There is no way to contact the developer unless you are one of the clicks he protects. Too much censoring of words and not just foul swear words. I am silenced in the game, not allowed to communicate, not allowed to select my own name..the developer makes me use the name I Love Hearts. Ha! Not his Hearts APP. Because I defied his chosen ones. Th clicky’s! The game cards are rigged for the developers clicky’s! Don’t waste your time on this APP. However, for the last few weeks I am getting inexplicably kicked out of the game. If I try to make a comment (in the lobby or during a multiplayer game) I will get kicked out and the App closes. Sometimes I will get kicked out and the App will close when I choose a card to play. I am hoping that Mr Shelly can sort this out as I would really like to return to playing this game. ### 4/5 — Love this game! But please fix. *2023-03-14* I love this game and probably play it everyday. But for some reason, recently, it doesn’t put my cards on the bottom like in the picture (they are further up with one card going to the next line). Other players cards in the middle now covers some of mine. I have iPad Pro 3rd generation with the latest iOS 16.3.1. I don’t know if the latest iOS update made this occur, but please update the program. Would be glad to send picture if requested by email. ### 4/5 — Too Easy! *2016-04-23* I have played hearts on the computer with Heartland Hearts and I win some and lose some or come in second or third. With 25-30 games played, I have only had one second place. All others I won with scores of 12 to 40. Most scores were under 25. I'm good at this but not that good. It would be good to have different levels that one can select. Other than that I thought the game played well except I don't really want to win every time. I'm working on another technique. But it has so many problems that it is very frustrating to play. The creator of the game is bound to know about the many inconsistencies, too many to list here. I would like to continue playing this game as I have been, but it is a little difficult. I hope it gets better so we can continue playing. Believe me...I am not alone! Thank you. Charlie Scribner ### 3/5 — Not bad but... *2017-04-16* While better than other Hearts games, it's still a software. After a while, I felt like Neo and could see the Matrix. I don't have hallucinations and see the lines of code, but I see the patterns in the programming quite clearly. The queen of spades too often comes at the worst moments and card distribution is not realistic. Still it's stable and no annoying ads, so that's a plus. My understanding of the rules says that you cannot lead with a heart unless the suit has been broken or you don’t have any other suit cards in your hand. I have found on this game, that while I cannot lead a heart unless it’s broken, the computer can lead at any time with a heart.
