## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Worthless

*2023-01-21*

Absolutely worthless

### 2/5 — Not great

*2021-03-23*

Too easy to mess up the scores, should cap each round at 26 so you do not accidentally add too many points to one player. Would be nice to keep track of round to round scores instead of just the total.

### 2/5 — Lost my game score

*2018-08-05*

It seems that under some circumstances it loses the scores. Maybe after the app crashes or the phone restarts. Seems like a simple thing to prevent.

### 3/5 — A “near miss”

*2021-07-16*

This app has many details that make it clear the author at least understands how the game is played — but somehow still manages to be worse than just writing scores on paper.

You have to re-enter player names any time the app is quit. Most of us play with regular groups so this is agggravating.

The scoring buttons are at kind of weird intervals and there’s no check to ensure scores add up to 26 at each hand, which is a pretty major fail.

Scores aren’t broken out by hand, you just have a running total. So you can’t look back and see things like, “oh, bob’s score is so low because he scored zero in the last four hands.”

The interface is reasonably nice, but in my iPhone 8 the elements get jumbled together at the top. It feels a bit like an abandoned app.

Instead of this app, use “hearts scoreboard” which has none of these problems.

### 3/5 — Display glitches

*2021-01-20*

There are words overwriting other parts of the screen. +13 shows as +...

### 4/5 — I realise it’s been 4 years since an update

*2020-06-13*

But if you do another update, on latest iOS there is some black label text under the top icons. Other than that, it’s still useful :)

### 4/5 — Simple and elegant

*2019-07-14*

No frills, works perfectly. Option for more than four players would be good.

### 4/5 — Great app for keeping score at hearts

*2017-08-22*

This is great when you don't have paper. I found that if you took a break midway it reset itself and you lost the game you were playing. I will know for next time.

### 5/5 — Perfect App, Does Exactly What It Should

*2019-11-24*

I absolutely love this app. My family often plays hearts, and now the need for a paper and pen is gone! Save the turtles!
The organization of the app is sleek and beautiful. So user-friendly and convenient!
One thing I would change is being able to change the dealer in settings without changing the pass direction, and vice versa. Only a minor thing, still a great functioning app.
Overall, it’s a wonderful app!

### 5/5 — Good app

*2015-12-22*

Well designed, very nice.

### 5/5 — Excellent

*2014-10-05*

Hearts scoreboard is excellent - simple design and easy to modify based on number of players and system of play. Very glad to have this at my fingertips when the cards are in my hands.

### 5/5 — Great app!

Great app!
