You rig the deal with high and low cards, or in ‘Hearts’ by playing a low spade when a normal player would dump the queen, or when the computer attempts in one of its three guises to Shoot the Moon and only the human player recognises what’s happening and can gamble whether to lose or take the trick. Clearly that last is down to the constraints of programming priorities into the “skill” ievel. I just want a fair deal. Bring your game and it’ll erase their thumb on the scale. You can win and you can lose, just like an actual game. My biggest complaint is that my opponents very rarely purposely take a heart in order to block an opponent from shooting the moon. It would be useful if this could be changed in Settings as this is just plain weird?? And I’ve been looking for and trying out different hearts apps trying to find one I really like. This was one of the apps I tried. It’s very clear to me that the computer opponents you play against are clearly cheating. They literally work together to give you the most points possible. To the point they will shoot the moon, multiple times in a single game to stack up points on you. This is the only app that does this. Doesn’t matter how many times you retry it. You will always end up with highest amount of points everytime. It’s not honest or fair. That’s why I’m making this review because of the dishonesty. ### 1/5 — Rigged Game *2025-02-01, version 8.8.0* The game had the same player go to the moon 3 hands in a row. I was given all high cards each hard. If I was playing poker I would have beaten everyone. If you have a slight lead. The game will automatically go to the moon with another player. DO NOT PLAY THIS GAME HERE. ### 1/5 — Unrealistic *2024-12-31* In quite a few games there have been two shoot the moons. A few times there have been three. This is so rare apart from this game. And it cheats to make sure you get dumped with the queen of spades. The first two players seem to throw out cards lower than you have and boom West who always has that card drops it on you. When cards are passed to you it always seems to be with a suit you have two high cards on. So you have dead unusable cards in most hands are passed to you, The game is unrealistic. I have witnessed the cheating while playing the game. The deal is cheating and the others know exactly what cards to play against your card to win. Meaning the other know what cards are in your hand. Who gets 4 Qs in there hand in a row. What are the odds. Ads are kept small and unobtrusive but are available if any need for further information. Automatic last card play, this is the game that I can really get into and enjoy time after time after time. Try it, like me you can play it from time to time for years and years and years and like me, never get bored with it. My go to game to relax. It’s brilliant. And SILKY SMOOTH.. ### 5/5 — Favorite Hearts App *2024-01-25* I play this for a couple of reasons. It’s a simple no-frills hearts app with a lot of good options. It’s also the only hearts app I found that doesn’t track you. The AI is pretty good. However there is one quirk I’ve noticed with the AI: They will shoot the moon even if it means they lose. For example, the bot in last place will shoot the moon causing the game to end, but they will still lose because they were more than 26 behind first place.
