### 1/5 — Zero Bitcoin mined after 3 months

*2023-02-19*

I’ve had two of these “heaters” for 3 months now. Neither of them have mined more than 19 satoshi. They both produce heat. I’ve sent dozens of emails to the support team abs they always promise the next update will improve things. I still have yet to see why I’m paying $100+ more a month for electricity and getting zero bitcoin in return. Almost seems like a scam so they can keep the mining profits.

### 1/5 — I don’t think it’s a scam

*2023-01-26*

I just think their support is lacking. I have had my Heatbit for 2 months. The app shows I have mined 0 satoshi. I have reset the unit and reinstalled the app probably about 15 times. Support says that my unit is mining BTC, but I haven’t seen any of it. My suggestion would be to by a $50 space heater and just buy $950 of BTC. You will be better off and save yourself a lot of headaches.

### 2/5 — No longer iOS 12 compatible

*2024-01-18, version 2.1.5*

Earlier versions of Heatbit would work on older versions of iOS, which is useful as old iPads can have a perfect second life as smart home controllers. Unfortunately the current version is iOS 13 or above, and although an iOS 12.5.7 device can download it, it just closes immediately if you try to launch it. It may be that the “download last compatible version” feature isn’t quite set right and is allowing App Store to grab too new a release. Furthermore, the overall controls are practically useless. Pushing the Heatbit front button will wake it up, but to shut it down? That differs every time. Allow 10 minutes of random button pushing to perform a clean shutdown without it just launching the temperature gauge on the app. And don’t expect help in the user manual because Heatbit refuse to produce one.

### 2/5 — Nice product but app needs work

*2023-02-23*

Good product overall, but the app and software need a lot of work. The heatbit disconnects from the wifi almost daily but there is no warning or notification. So unless you open the app, you won’t know it stopped mining because the fans keep going.

Would be nice to add a function where it reconnects to the wifi automatically when it gets disconnected.

Also notifs/messages when the heatbit disconnects and stops mining.

### 4/5 — Nice demo

Looking forward to the non-KYC sats

### 4/5 — Pretty good results

*2023-02-24*

I’ve had this heater for a few months now and have been happy with it. The mobile app needs some work and is lacking some features such as being able to turn down the heat. Currently it’s 100% heat, or no heat 😅but the heater heats my home, is quiet, and setup + install was very easy.

### 5/5 — Cool design.

*2026-06-16*

Happy with the smooth setup. Everything works fine.

### 5/5 — Easy peasy lemon squeezy bitcoin

*2026-03-05*

I mean if your going to buy a Dyson, why not buy one that gives you bitcoin and cleans the air? 10/10

### 5/5 — Heating and mining at home made easy

*2024-04-04, version 2.1.9*

Love it. It looks good, the app works well and I get to subtly orange pill my friends who come over!
