## What is Heater Counter?

Heater is a blackjack training app that teaches the Hi-Lo card counting system and basic strategy. Built for players who want to master the math behind the game.

Track the count in real time as cards are dealt. Get instant bet recommendations sized to your bankroll using Kelly criterion. See when to deviate from basic strategy with the Illustrious 18 built in. Monitor side bets — Insurance, Lucky Ladies, Perfect Pairs, 21+3 — with proper suit-aware logic.

THE TRUTH ABOUT COUNTING

Card counting works, but the edge is small (around 0.5–1.5%) and variance is brutal. You will lose sessions even when you count perfectly. The math only shows up over thousands of hands. Heater is a learning tool — it teaches discipline and strategy, not guaranteed wins.

Casinos can ban suspected counters. They can flat-bet you, shuffle early, or ask you to leave. Don't bet what you can't afford to lose.
