### 3/5 — It’s alright

*2019-10-12*

If you like corridor hack and slash game it’s for you

### 3/5 — Confused...

*2018-10-29*

On an iPad pro. The game play is smooth. The graphics are nice, classic dungeon crawl. However, I am not able to get the second map unlocked. Played through, completed the first space... And then it just takes me back to the menu screen showing the first map/dungeon unlocked, and all the others remain locked. Pretty sure this is glitched.

**Developer response:** The second quest on the first dungeon should be unlocked. There are dungeon, and quest menus when selecting a level.

### 3/5 — Fun game, but needs iCloud save support!

*2016-05-22*

Simplistic, but fun game. Reminds me of the old school dungeon crawl games.

However, the additional of automated iCloud save game support is a must!

### 3/5 — Interesting concept

*2016-04-30, version 4.1*

With the new update looking around and turning is much easier. Also the buttons for sword and magic are in good positions. However, moving forward only seems to happen in a strange zig-zag pattern and going straight doesn't seem to work. It was difficult to get the key to the first door, which is literally right in front of you, and even harder to make your way to that door, which is also in front of you

### 3/5 — So powerful lags

*2016-04-15*

It sometimes lags so much , maybe FPS gets down

### 4/5 — Immersive and fun

*2016-04-15*

It's immersive. It feels like you're actually in a dungeon RPG. The first-person perspective really makes you feel like you're in a dungeon. I also like how it has a Skyrim feel. Graphics look good and gameplay is straightforward. If the controls were adjustable layout/tweak-able then it would be fantastic. Great game as it is if you like first-person dungeon-crawling RPGs.

### 4/5 — Why 4 Stars?

*2016-02-11*

From the kicking sound track, to the visuals and intense gameplay, this game screams premium experience! The newest update added weapon and armor upgrades! The lighting effects really make you feel you are in a dark dungeon and exploring those dungeons brings back nostalgia from all those old dungeon crawling games I used to play and love. There are a decent amount of levels and there's an ok amount of healing and mana potions placed throughout the dungeons. You must learn to dodge and attack opponents effectively to survive. The only reason I took off one star is because there are no increased sentitivity to the on screen controls in the settings. The swiping is not sensitive enough for me and I keep having to reswipe to move the way I wish. Other than this I would have rated it five stars. Thank you dev for a fun game. Thank you also for the sale.

### 1/5 — 11 Pro Max Crash

*2019-09-22*

It won’t launch on my iPhone 11 Pro Max nor my old iPhone X. Both are on iOS 13, that might be the issue.

### 1/5 — Crashed

*2019-09-21, version 7*

Doesn’t open on iPhone XS iOS 13

### 1/5 — Worst game ever

*2016-08-18*

Too slow for my ipad and has no skill or brains involved

### 1/5 — ???

*2016-06-11*

So, couldn't figure out how to move forward and back. Arrows by sword don't seem to do anything. Can get sword to swing and able to throw fireballs but that doesn't make much of a game. Good luck!

### 1/5 — Ugh

*2016-06-11*

Horrible controls. Lasted all of 10 minutes in my SE

### 1/5 — Cannot reverse y axis

*2016-02-01, version 2.0*

Reversing y axis is not even in the options. Can't play :(

### 1/5 — Forgot the QA department?

*2015-11-18*

First launch black screen and sound defaulted to off. Second launch flickering textures are unbearable. No option for inverted controls? Another waste of money. iPad Air 2

### 2/5 — Crashes on iOS 13

*2019-09-23, version 7*

The app doesn’t start and just crashes on iOS 13, iPhone XS. Please fix for a proper review and rating.

### 2/5 — Nice graphics but..

*2019-06-06*

Nice graphics but I can’t invert the controls.

### 2/5 — Fun.. For a few minutes

*2016-04-14*

The app is fun for a few minutes, but after that five minutes of fun is up you'll find yourself getting lost without any map and there's absolutely no variation to the combat. Worth a try, but without some much needed changes it's best to skip it for now

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Excellent game

*2022-02-18*

Great graphics, background rock and roll soundtrack and gameplay in a small package. It is very immersive and feels a little like a virtual reality experience 😎🤙.This game is a job well done that deserves a sequel.

### 5/5 — Rocks

*2018-10-27*

The action is fast and fun. Really great dungeon game. The music is a great addition, metal bass cords. Feels like playing Skyrim but better. Worth a try for sure. You’ll love it.

### 5/5 — Super good

*2017-01-17, version 4.1*

One of the best game out here. Good graphics good game perfect

### 5/5 — Very cool!

*2016-07-10, version 4.1*

This was a great game. Just the right amount of difficulty, lightly challenging but a lot of fun. The lighting effects were astounding, well done to the developer.Well worth a go. I was hooked for a week or so to finish this. I loved when I got the Lightning sword, wow!

### 5/5 — Deserves Editors Choice

*2016-04-14, version 4.0*

Great graphics, smooth frame-rate, fun game altogether.

### 4/5 — Surprisingly Fun

*2018-10-24*

At first I thought this game was a mindless hack-and-slash fighting game. Turns out, it is, and it’s a lot of fun. It’s a bit over-the-top and silly with the buffed-out enemies and heavy metal music, but I consider it to be a parody of 2000s era dungeon FPS games. Either way, it’s satisfying to play.

### 4/5 — Don't get lost!

*2016-08-04*

Fun game, but could use a map so you don't get lost in the maze.

### 4/5 — Not so bad

*2016-06-29*

Simple no brain game. Apparently if you have the volume on you'll hear clues about hidden rooms. I play with volume off tho. Can get gold to increase character and weapons stats. Would like more customization options and story line and full play ability with volume off.

### 4/5 — Mideval Doom

*2016-05-19*

This review is based off the first several stages and over a couple hours actual play. It is also running on iPhone 6 with up to date operating system.

The graphics are what grab the attention. It really looks quite nice and the lighting and shadows are pretty good at setting a dark, eerie mood. The only issue is draw distance. It isn't bad...but noticeable.
The enemies and animation are done very well. There are some cliche monsters, but they look really nice and there is a pretty good variety.

The controls are serviceable for a touch screen. It would help if there were an option to move the attack and spell casting buttons to a different place on screen. They get touched by accident very often because they are in the corners where your thumbs naturally want to be.

Game play is standard dark, dungeon maze fare. It's basic (so far) with no real reason to use the "look up or down" controls. Just move through the maze until you find the key to open the door with occasional larger rooms for multiple enemies to hide in.
You can strengthen your character and equipment using gold, so you will likely be grinding past levels for cash often.

The sound is good. The ambient noises are sufficient and set an ominous mood.
The music is my issue. Remember the heavy metal that Doom kind of went with? This is trying something similar, but to me it doesn't quite work. I silenced the music and enjoy the ambient noises much better.

Is it worth a dollar? Yes. It really isn't bad. If you like crawling around in dark dungeons by torchlight and fighting some pretty well designed enemies, you won't be disappointed.

### 4/5 — Meh, another dungeon crawler.

*2016-04-15*

Could have better controls:
-Two seemingly important buttons do nothing.
-Button layout causes many unwanted button presses

Could be better in general:
-It's just slay and slay, and little else. Exact opposite of Undertale

Also has a fiery skull appear upon death.

Merits: Intermediate graphics (not bad), instrumental rock music is a nice touch, and some of the monsters look kinda cool.
If only you could do anything besides slay them or be slain by them.
