### 5/5 — Necessary. Indispensable in my Jewish life.

*2026-08-13, version 26.8.18*

I rely on this app. I live in a place where the nearest Chabad is two hours away in Knoxville Tennessee. I’m often completely on my own as a Jew. I need to be reminded of things like Rosh Chodesh. The reminder this morning had me saying you Yehi Rotzon right after Modeh Ani.

### 5/5 — Waiting for this for YEARS: worth the wait!

*2026-08-07, version 26.8.16*

So simple and pleasant. The entire site is a gem !

### 2/5 — ???

*2026-07-19, version 26.7.21*

I miss today in Jewish history and thought for the day

### 5/5 — Perfection.

*2026-07-17, version 26.7.20*

This app, genuinely, has everything one could possibly need. I was annoyed at first that you have to pay a subscription to get the full benefits, but after using it for about a year and a half, the price is worth it. I no longer needed three other apps. The widgets for it are awesome, and it has completely replaced my other calendars/planners. And can be displayed with your Georgian calendar on your lock screen without looking cumbersome. The only thing missing is the app being more English accessible. Albeit, if you’re not fluent in Hebrew you can still navigate no problem.

### 5/5 — Very helpful and accurate

*2026-07-17, version 26.7.20*

Checking against multiple sources, the times listed are consistent with local authorities, the resources available are very helpful, and the overall functionality is very good. I have been using this app for well over a year and am continually pleased with it and the improvements made to it. I have found it to be consistently better, more useful, and more functional than similar apps, including paid ones!

### 5/5 — Improved widget!

*2026-07-12, version 26.7.16*

I like having Shabbat times and number-of-days-til-Yom-Tov on the widget!

### 5/5 — Brilliant information

*2026-07-06, version 26.7.5*

Excellent App using all the time but don’t like the new colour

### 5/5 — Best app

*2026-07-01, version 26.6.30*

This is the best Hebrew calendar app I have found and I use it every day for zmanim

### 4/5 — religious holidays

*2026-05-28, version 26.5.7*

Non Jewish holidays should not be in Hebrew calendar

### 5/5 — Hi

*2026-05-25, version 26.5.7*

Very very nice

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 26.8.31 — 2026-08-21

• Personal message on zman alerts — add your own text to any alert
• Choose your candle-lighting time — Settings › Candle lighting time: follow the
local custom, or 15/18/20/22/25/30/40 minutes before sunset
• Shabbat candles instead of a flame on the Zmanim screen

Fixes:
• More accurate candle-lighting times — the default is 18 minutes before sunset,
  and Tel Aviv is 21
• The major-city Shabbat times now agree across every screen
• The widget and notifications use your current location's time, even if you
  haven't opened the Zmanim screen
• Fixed text appearing on the wrong row when scrolling Settings

### 26.8.30 — 2026-08-15

• New location picker for Zmanim — search, current location, and recent places
• Fixed Hebrew text that was showing in English
• Fixed calendar access on iOS 17 and later
• Rebuilt how notifications are delivered for improved reliability
• Stability and performance improvements

### 26.8.18 — 2026-08-07

• Shabbat Mevarchim now appears in the event list, with the month being blessed (e.g. "Shabbat Mevarchim Chodesh Elul").
• Fixed: after a fresh install, Shabbat and Rosh Chodesh reminders were never created and "Managing Reminders" stayed empty. Reminders are now set as soon as you allow notifications — no need to restart the app.

### 26.8.17 — 2026-08-06

Dark mode, improved:
• Calendar — navy Shabbat column with a subtle gold marker, neighbouring-month days clearly recede, and the selected day stands out.
• Siddur — brand gold and navy in place of the old orange.
• Daily Zmanim — the Shabbat card now matches the brand palette.
• More menu — a dark background that fits the rest of the app.
Light mode is unchanged.

### 26.8.16 — 2026-08-02

• Chok LeYisrael, redesigned — this week's learning in one tap, search across every parsha, and a real PDF reader with paging, zoom and resume.
• Dvar Malchus, redesigned — this week's booklet up front, the "בארץ הקודש" and "בכל העולם" editions clearly separated, and a reader with contents and a page scrubber. Booklets are saved to your device and open offline.
• 613 Mitzvot, redesigned — fast search, filter by positive/negative and by book, plus a full English translation.
• Synagogues — directions and full address now show on almost every listing.
• Fixed: device calendar events didn't appear after granting permission until the app was restarted.
• Small design and performance improvements.
