The one thing I hope they add is the ability for it to join an online meeting like fireflies or other AI-meeting agents instead of me needing to have it running on another device and listening in. The summaries are emailed immediately and are highly accurate. Plus you can run searches and queries against the recordings WHILE they are being made or afterwards, which is truly unique and useful. I would like to see the ability to GROUP recordings together and generate a global summary across the group as well as run searches against the group. This would be very useful to students who record all their lectures across an entire semester or business people attending a conference all day with several speakers or a multi-day conference. This additional feature would completely set Hedy apart from the other summary apps. I also prefer how Plaud automatically titles each recording and would like to see that in addition to the date and time listed that Hedy currently provides. Glad it’s working so well for you. ### 5/5 — Great summaries, responses to live meetings, but Heavy and dated UI *2026-05-12* In a space with many competing products, Hedy AI offers some pretty unique meeting prep features; adding to the usual transcription and summary, the 'ask questions while in a meeting' and 'summarize the last 5 minutes' is truly unique to this app. The app is a tad slow. There is a a dev opportunity in making it faster. Also, get a good UI designer so you can take away some of the quirky icons and workflows, and I think an overall optimization of white spacing required. An ability to correct participant names, as also domain specific terms across the whole summary would be great to have. Dadurch größtenteils vollkommen unbrauchbare Zusammenfassungen. Try again later” is the only response I can get from the AI. ### 4/5 — Game changer *2025-08-29* This app is brilliant for summarising meetings and action points. The ability to set the contexts and have the session through that lens is super helpful. 1 star down because the transcription still can’t differentiate between speakers but this is a small matter given I can download the audio and upload it to an app that can. It performs great in person, and it's been a lifesaver on Zoom calls where the host won't allow a recording bot to join — it still captures everything reliably. I have tried over a dozen paid AI transcriber / notetaker apps. Hedy is by far the best one I’ve used and now the only one I use. Incredible feature set. Rarely misunderstands. Mainly its names that are misspelled, which is easily corrected. As a tool it makes an incredible difference, saving a massive amount of time on follow-ups, with detailed summaries that can be shared, with full transcripts and the option to save session audio. You can set your own topics, pick from a drop down of meeting types, create saved custom Context with detailed AI prompts with instructions for capturing different meeting types. It’s a daily tool that delivers impressive ongoing value. And the features just keep improving.
