Impossible to name all the many issues users encounter with this app. It’s so bad. It’s almost like children made it. Why the Palmdale school District chose this app is a mystery the previous fully functional and user-friendly

#1 why does this app need access to your photos and videos? #2 it’s tracking usage on your phone(how you us the internet). #3 its accessing your financial information link to your phone. #4 your essentially giving up your 4th amendment right granted by the US Constitution. All for the ability to pick up jobs and call out. This app is at the ready to violate your privacy.

You won’t be alerted when new assignments are available. App continues to show assignments that have already been filled. App won’t notify you when an assignment is cancelled. It still shows assignments for days where you are already booked elsewhere. All other absence management platforms allowed for real-time alerts for new job opportunities.

1. For some reason, I do NOT get notifications when jobs are available. I checked my iPhone notification settings for Helios( which are ON) as well as my contact info on the Helios website. I still do not receive notifications or texts or calls for jobs. I have to check the app 20 or more times a day to make sure I can land a job because it will be taken by someone that does get notifications almost immediately.  I have contacted the school district that I work for and even they cannot figure it out. There is no telephone number for me to contact support.
2. The app seems to be reliable about 60-70% of the time. Other times, the app does not load. Available assignments do not load. I get signed out and sometimes cannot sign back in on the mobile app. Sometimes the available assignments tab can take 30+ mins to load and accepting assignments takes up to an hour of loading.

Logged me out today, for the hundredth time. Cannot log back in. This app constantly glitches. Some pages don’t work. This system is just really bad. Developers clearly do not care about the app, they just put it out and never looked back.

App will say you have a job when you don’t, jobs that are taken still appear, and sometimes lags to accept jobs, logs you out each time, can’t even save login information, no notifications from app directly. Very frustrating.

This app is wonderful! I’m able to see my assignments on my phone.

It works well for me, can put in absences, pick up sub jobs, see my forms and sign them via the app. I like that I can see leaves and submit my requests to the district and track them with it too.
